We visited The Huntsman Steakhouse on the opening night and it was wonderful. Really intimate place with a good atmosphere and nice decor. The baked camembert and brie bite starters were delicious and beautifully presented. The fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had, and I'm fussy about my steak! Cooked perfectly and with a good choice of sides so there really is something for everyone.
We also had the house cocktails which were also well presented and very tasty - highly recommend the English Garden. We will definitely be back I can't wait to try the ribs :)
What a fabulous place! Food was amazing, great steaks, perfectly matched side, the onion rings a thing of true pleasure. The cocktails were really tasty and well crafted and a great wine list that doesn't break the bank. And really friendly staff, I mean seriously, what more do want. Definitely worth a visit!
We had a lovely family meal here for my husband's 40th birthday.
The restaurant arranged a cake with candles and a balloon which saved me a job! They communicated with me really well about it too.
Service was friendly and attentive and the staff were lovely with our 4 year old daughter.
A free bottle of Prosecco was a nice unexpected treat.
Food is beautiful, steaks are cooked perfectly and good value too as are the drinks.

The huntsman steakhouse is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend to try out this place, they have amazing offers and the food is always top notch!! The steak is always cooked to perfection! And the lamb is another story! The staff are so friendly and they make you feel so welcome!! French 43 is the cocktail you need to try!
Had a meal tonight, everything was amazing. Staff were attentive and friendly, the menu and food were great, and the steak was genuinely incredible. Really tender, cooked to perfection, cut like butter. The mac and cheese side and blue cheese sauce were amazing, a really good addition to Hazel Grove, will definitely be going back.

What a fantastic restaurant with amazing food and a warm and friendly atmosphere! If you love steak and ribs this is definitely the place to go! I had a steak which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Family run business which sources all food and alcohol locally which I think is a big plus. Will most certainly be visiting again.
As an American guy who's had loads of top knotch steaks before, I'll say for certain this is the best you'll find on the other side of the pond. Great steaks cooked to perfection. Blue Cheese sauce was my favorite. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice cut with the right flavor and texture
