Myself and my partner are new to living in Ackworth and this Chinese takeaway was perfect. Amazing food. Thank you :)

Very rude English receptionist, who thought that by ordering a meal, I needed a lesson in Chinese food. I was there for a meal, nothing more. Ordered ahead, arrived a good 5 minutes after timeslot, and still had to wait 10 minutes for food that was tepid, and not what expected. It was only stated it was 'Cantonese' on arrival. Unfortunately I did not like it, and was very poor value at £8 for tiny bits of chicken. Needless to say, won't be back.

Horrendous customer service. Extremely rude receptionist, clearly hasn’t ever been taught how to behave in the service industry. Shame for the business as the menu is extensive and staff in the kitchen are polite. Could be the best take away in the world, but not worth the agro you have to go through to place an order.

In my opinion the best chinese in Ackworth, chicken curry (ask for no veg) is top tier.

Used to be a brill place but recently they seem to have jacked up their prices, lowered their quality and abolished customer service, oh and added even more salt to the food, it's a shame as this place used to be one of the best around, last time I went I just felt totally ripped off, the 1/4 duck which cost £9 was so overcooked the kids wouldn't eat it and it got thrown in the bin.

This review is based on our last 3 trips, maybe I've just been unlucky but I certainly won't be back again.

Very disappointed. Don't know whether takeaway has changed hands but standards have certainly dropped. Non veggie Spring Rolls only seemed to contain bean sprouts and a few very small bits of pink meat. Sweet and Sour Pork was tough and gristly. Chicken in Chow Mien wasn't very nice either with large lumps of not very nice looking chicken. Beef was also gristly in the Beef and Black Bean. Free prawn crackers were good.

Won't be calling again until I hear better reports.

Great little Chinese takeaway. Nearly all takeaways in the SESKU area and surrounding get 0,1 or 2 hygiene rating stars, I believe this one gets 5. They don't deliver but you can order to collect. You can also call ahead, such as at 5pm and arrange to collect later, such as 7pm. Food is very good.

Hmmmm used to be ace but just seems really cheap food, really fatty pork and chicken pink on the inside! Was shocked at how much it cost for a few items.

Really disappointing as was the best Chinese for miles but will def be going to hemsworth from now on or the pizza place next door
