Chashni is a good traditional Pakistani sweet shop. They do have some good items but generally 60% of the times their mithai is old. Sometimes even their prepackaged rasmalai is stale.
Halwa puri is no doubt fresh and of good quality (better than their neighbours) but they need to improve the channa taste. Baturas are very good and tasty!!
Service wise I think they are generally very professional and respectful but sometimes do make false claims about the freshness of their sweet products.
Overall I think a decent sweet place.
Yesterday went to buy sweets in the late evening.
I was shocked with the horrendous customer service the tall salesperson facial expression was that he doesn't want to welcome the customers in the shop, when asked for sweets in the fridge he couldn't be bothered to move and asked fellow colleague to follow up.
Hope the owner or manager will look into it and focus on customer service.
Went there for the first time to get some mithai, liked their gulab jamuns, khaya barfi, chocolate barfi but unfortunately the mooti choor laddu wasn't sweet instead it was too oily. But overall a good experience will try their other food as well
Chashni is a delightful Pakistani sweet shop that never fails to impress with its delectable treats. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an array of colorful and aromatic sweets that are a feast for the senses.
The quality and freshness of Chashni's sweets are truly commendable. Whether you're a fan of traditional mithai like Gulab Jamun and Barfi or prefer something more contemporary like chocolate-covered dates, Chashni has something for every palate. The sweets are always prepared with the finest ingredients, resulting in a taste that's both authentic and satisfying.
One of the standout features of Chashni is their commitment to presentation. The sweets are not just delicious but also beautifully crafted, making them perfect for gifting on special occasions. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist you in making the right choices.
Moreover, Chashni takes hygiene and cleanliness seriously, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers. Prices are reasonable, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy these delightful sweets.
Whether you're celebrating a festival, sharing joy with loved ones, or simply craving a sweet indulgence, Chashni is the go-to sweet shop that delivers on taste, quality, and variety. It's a true gem in the world of Pakistani sweets in the UK!
Tried their halwa puri and bhatura on weekend. Everything was hot and fresh. Taste was good. We really enjoyed. Staff was polite and service was prompt. All halwa puri lovers should give it a go.
Our Regular go to Breakfast most Weekends. Lovely customer service make us feel welcomed and settled as a family always. Its Our Usual Punjabi breakfast of Halva, Puri/Batura and Chana Curry with Lasi and Kashmiri Tea. Lovely place to visit and sit comfortably.????
Best experience of Lahori Nashta at Chashni Ilford Lane. We had a breakfast party and much pleased with the quality of the food. Food was cooked in front of us, Puri and Patoraa was so fresh tasty and soft, chana, aloo and achar was so good. Staff was very friendly and cooperative .
I bought a portion of Halwa Poori The taste was very bad the taste of sprouts was similar to Samosa chat they were not meant to be eat with poori's and found 3 4 hairs in the Chana. Worst experience of breakfast on the first day of Eid.
