AVOID. After being given a quote & timeframe by a friendly guy & agreeing a specific time for the work around my clients. On arrival I was told they 'assumed I wasn't coming' & staff were rude, said they couldnt fit me in for the booked repair & essentially implied I was a liar. Why not check why your staff are giving inaccurate information on booking? Avoid at all costs. Rude & unprofessional.
Very honest, fair and capable. Really appreciated their approach to talk through the options with us particularly as we run a relatively old car. Great. We will be using them again.
My car has been making a dreadful noise (whistling noise) but only does it in certain weather. I dropped in at this garage and asked if they could help. I explained how the noise wasn't coming from the belt because I had had it changed. I was told by the man at the garage after he had his head under the bonnet to take it back and get them to repair it (26 miles away!). He then closed the bonnet and walked away and left me with a car clearly needing attention. I couldn't believe his attitude and will never go to this place again because all they will do is leave you stranded
always manage to fit me in, if it fails they only charge for the one test and they're always quick. Nice to have somewhere close to work
Having moved to Wetherby 2 years ago I was looking for a family business for general repairs and servicing.
Having spent all my working life in the Motor Trade I retired some 16 years ago. I booked my old Mercedes SL in to Waudbys for a handbrake problem. Fantastic service, job done very efficiently and explained exactly what the problem was. Very impressed with the staff super friendly and sensibly priced.
So impressed I have now booked in our other two cars. Well done to all at Waudbys.
Rattling sound in car. Waudbys said new brake pads were required (the car had new ones installed less than a year ago). They were vague about when they could do the work (even though we were very clear we needed it done soon), rude when I took the car for less than an hour to take my daughter to nursery (even though one of the mechanics was clearly desperate to get rid of it) and ultimately refused to do the work at all after they’d had it for days. Then we took it to another garage in Harrogate who said the existing brake pads were fine and just needed cleaning and did the job within the hour. Not a good experience at all.

Went to Waudbys yesterday at zero notice when our car flashed warning lights on a trip to Scotland from the south. Within minutes the diagnostic machine was plugged in and advice given that it was safe to drive on. Many thanks to Team Waudby for their can do attitude, efficiency and humour.
