I have been going here for close to a year now for my massages, and I always see Michelle, who is truly a healer. I have chronic back pain and I always leave her appointment with significantly reduced pain. She is so friendly and kind, and is happy to talk with you during your appointment or not, depending on your mood. She consistently checks in with you during your appointment to make sure the pressure, etc. is alright. Consistent massages with her have undoubtedly improved my quality of life significantly.
Yesterday, I had my hair colored by Jo, who is an absolute artist. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was going for, but she spent a lot of time with me offering suggestions and answering my questions both during my consult and actual appointment. She was gentle, even when she had to brush out teased hair, and super friendly. I don’t mind sitting in a chair for five hours with that type of company! We decided halfway through the appointment to add pink into the mix, due to the way my hair was lifting, and her ability to go with the flow and improvise resulted in my dream hair.
Michelle and Jo are fantastic at what they do, and all the people at the salon/spa are so friendly and helpful. This is my go-to place for massage/hair; I highly recommend them!
Oh, and they have super cute stuff in their shop!
I got a platinum facial for my wedding coming up this weekend . The lady who did it was super nice and it was good just disappointed on the time. Before I booked I called and asked about why the platinum hydrafacial is $325.00 dollars (when most hydra facials in the area are 200 for 1 hour) the lady emphasized that it was because it’s 75 min , not 60 min and that face and neck are done. My appointment was at 3:15 and I wasn’t called back until 3:30. We were done at 4:30. I know it’s only 15 min and I’m not one to usually complain but 325 dollars plus tip is ALOT of money and you should get nothing but the description of the service you sign up for. If I were to ever get one again, I’d go back to the spa at west end and pay 200 for their one hour hydra facial.
My wife and I both had our hair done with Laurel, one haircut and one color. We were both so happy with our services! Laurel is so friendly and very thorough making sure you get the perfect style you are looking for. We will definitely be going back to see her!
I had a massage there by Brittney and it was one of the best that I have ever had. She was very nice and professional and gave a great deep tissue massage. Front desk staff was also kind and professional and Hayley is amazing ❤️
UPDATED REVIEW*** sadly my usual stylist switched salons and I was so nervous to have someone new do my hair…thankfully I got the pleasure of having Laurel as my stylist. One word; AMAZING. She was so nice and helpful with picking the right cut/color for me. She has pure talent.
Always happy with my hair when I am fixed up at Urban Nirvana. Kristina is the best! She makes my shorts cuts look bomb!????????I haven't had a cut by her that I don't like. Great atmosphere and fairly easy to get an appointment!
Wonderful experience at urban nirvana with Michelle! I had a 60 min massage and the time went by all too quickly! She applied the perfect amount of pressure, had great muscle releasing techniques and a relaxing atmosphere. My neck and shoulders feel 10x better!
I have been going for facials/massages since they opened in Greenville. If you want a luxury spa with top quality service this is where to go
