Skylar at undertone is absolutely amazing. Not only did she get me in the same day but completely and utterly pulled a miracle with my hair. I had really messed up my hair by thinking I could cut it myself and of course I was wrong. She was so sweet and knowing I wanted to keep as much length as possible talked me through what we could do to achieve that. And even when she had to cut a little more on one side she talked to me about it first before just doing it. She told me what tool I could get to help me style my hair and when styling it after she was done cutting she showed me how to do it so I wouldn’t go home and not be able to recreate the look. I don’t go to salons a lot bc the environment is not it but I would 100% return and I will. I even bought styling spray which I NEVER do. This salon all around is amazing. I already go to Sam for my lash extensions. I highly recommend this salon and Skyler, you will not regret it
Had Skylar as my stylist and I could not have been happier with the experience and service she provided. I typically just cut my hair at home because of all the negative experiences I’ve had at past salons. Skylar was extremely friendly and did a wonderful job with my hair. I’ve never had my hair professionally colored and I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience. Will definitely be booking with Skylar again.

I truly had a horrible experience this month and it saddens me that this happened. I’ve been with this salon over a year and even told several people about it. I went in for color and extension install. Both I received and it was a horrible mess. Contacted Taylar to only hear she would charge me an additional $175 to fix the problem. I was in shock after $450 for the day and the extension cost at least that amount. In one day I threw away a grand and hrs of my time. After several text she said she would fix for $75 and I refused to pay a $1 more with the service I received. She should have NEVER allowed me to walk out her doors looking like she did. Whether this was intentional or her having a bad day I truly paid for it. It took me weeks before I decided to post anything about my situation because I was in shock and hurt over the situation. We had discussed going all brown and agreed upon that and then I get what you will see in pics. My wife was in shock and everyone I came in contact with thought it was a joke and a wig I had purchased to be funny. Pic will follow. I hate that a bad day in her salon has completely turned me against her and the business she runs. As someone in cosmetology school I would have never considered doing this to a client of mine.
Sami did an amazing job! I love my haircut Sami thank you! Someone else messed up my cut yesterday and today Sami fixed it and made it look exactly how I wanted. Great experience!
I came here with Shaun (best Mani/Pedi in Augusta) and the second I walked in I knew I loved it. The vibe is unlike every other salon in town. It's young, eclectic and cool as hell. The second I walked in I was like wow, I want to let these ladies go nuts on my hair because I bet I'd come out looking awesome. So yeah, I'm going to start testing out their services too!
Highly recommend ! Skylar & the owner Taylar did an amazing job at this lengthy process . Went from a faded plum color to a caramel brown color . Each of them did the best they could with what they had to work with & nailed it ! Can’t wait to come back & possibly go lighter ! Picture is what i wanted (left) & what i left with (right)
