Needed a precautionary x-ray for a twisted ankle. I was dreading going to Royal Berks in Reading but found out Townlands could do it.
In and out in 1 hour. Free (but limited spaces) parking.
Saw Cathy in triage- Excellent.

This is an amazing place a real gem. The people who work there are so friendly. I took my son who had a football injury to his hand/thumb.(Turned out to be a break)
From the lady on reception to the nurse & radiographer my son said they were all brilliant!
An extremely well managed and well organised hospital that is conveniently situated in one corner of the town. There’s smoke free parking. The staffs are very helpful and facilities are excellent.
Superb minor injuries service. Everyone so helpful, couldn't have gone to a better place, open 7 days a week as well. Nurses really know their stuff as well. Any minor injuries, go to see them. Reception staff are so happy to help you, my thanks to all of them.

As someone has already said S.Oxon is THE PLACE to get a minor injury!! Just been seen for an infected finger and all concerned could not have been more helpful!! It's a pity the staff can't review the patients, most of whom I witnessed this morning had that "I know my rights" air and attitude. Apparently 14 didn't turn up for their appointments on Saturday alone! The NHS has issues, mainly the patients!!
Arrived 90 mins early as traffic can be crazy that side of town during rush hour. Receptionist was snappy, rude and abrupt to everyone. Not nice when she is the first face that greets you and she’s aggressive. Hospital is big, clean and doctors are friendly
My son broke 3 bones this afternoon. We were in x-rayed, in a cast and x-rayed again within 2 hours. Thank you Amy, Beth and Jack (we met Jack previously for something else) superstars! Receptionists and X-ray staff all lovely and helpful too!
