Great little place across from Bench Mark Potato Shed. Good food fair prices too.
Ever wonder if a time machine exists? Eat here, so much nostalgia of a small town from a simpler time. This place is no frills burger place. The food is fine, not the best I have ever had, but the value is fantastic! 2 can eat for less than $15. Don't give your money to some corporate chain, eat here and support real American small business!
Been coming here for years and I love being greeted by the wonderful lady each time! The food is a great price for food that will fill you up! Although the building is a little old, it is worth entering and feeling welcomed by the cook/waitress and its customers! Does not accept checks or cards! ONLY cash. 100% recommend coming here for a quick meal!
The food is all right but it’s a great place for a cheap eat. The prices were like it was from the 80s. A couple bucks for a chicken sandwich, 70 cents for a soda and a $1. 25 for some tots. Wish I could help them clean it up so it looks nicer and more inviting. The lady cook/waitress was a gem though!
great burgers and fries!! is an old building and they are open for 11 to 4 . bring cash because they don't accept credit ir debit card but you won't be disappointed with the food. the lady is really nice!
Thornton Merc, located 4856 South Hwy 191, (downtown) Thornton Idaho. Open 11:00am-4:00pm M-F, closed Sat-Sun. This is one of those hidden Idaho gems that you need to take your taste buds to. Teton burgers, Snake River fries/onion rings, Thornton shakes, and a large variety of mouth-watering delights await the pallet, and at very reasonable prices. CASH ONLY. Give them a try I don't think you'll walk out hungry or disappointed. $$+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was in a crunch and needed a quick lunch. Mariana was quick and accommodating. The prices were great and the food was delicious. A juicy burger fresh off the grill. Definitely coming back. If you need a quick eat that is really good,You need to come here.
We went to Bear World before stopping by here for lunch. The place is only open from 11 to 4 but it was well worth stopping. The cade is in a building dating back to 1907, the cafe has been there since the 1950s and the lady working there has probably owned it for a couple of decades.
The food was good, the kitchen clean. There wasn't a lot of money spent on making it look nice but that didn't seem to negatively impact our experience. Old fashioned family owned diners aren't as common anymore so finding one was a real treat.
