Hand ground chuck patties, frozen Mason jars for your drinks, hand cut fresh French fries and GREAT service :) I had a bacon burger w/fries and it was delicious! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town for work. This is must try, very local hole in the wall.
Made a stop here to grab lunch on a weekday on our way to Shasta and we couldn’t be happier with the decision!
Ordered the Bobo burger and the Patty Wagon and both came out great!
The best thing about this place is the service. In my opinion, there’s no better food/service than that you would get at a place ran by its owners.

I traveled to Anderson for work and decided to stop for lunch. I googled food nearby and found this hidden gem. I met the owner and she was lovely. I had the tailgate burger. It was juicy, filling, and delicious. I'm so glad I stopped in. If I am ever in the vicinity again, I'm definitely heading straight to the TailGate!!
We love The Tailgate! Incredible burgers (try the Marty Pop), amazing prices, and friendliest owner ever. Even when she's in back cooking, she always makes a point to pop out and say hi.
First time there and it was absolutely delicious.. I am a super picky eater and the zucchini was to die for. Burger was cooked to perfection. Can't wait for steak night. Thank you, ladies. You did a fantastic job.
Was told I must stop by this new spot in town, so I did. Glad I listened. Chalkboard countertops, inviting owner/host, clean atmosphere, fast/ friendly service. Great food, what more could you ask for. This is the tailgate grand, the Philly cheesesteak and the Carter burger sliders. Definitely will return to eat again or try more another day, wish there was still batter left to try the fried mushrooms but will try another day. The Minus sides are the same its always been for this location, limited parking and limited seating, but worth it to grab and go
This place is a great place to come stop and have a great meal great service nice ambiance. Worunderful owner and on top of everything she's a Libra like myself
