Best KPortal Reviews
I know that you’re looking at the reviews and saying it can’t be real, or the food is good only for the standards of that little town. Or fish tacos in Hoonah? come on, man! Put your skepticism aside for a second and see that great food can be had anywhere, and the Fisherman’s Daughter is one of those great joys to find as someone who loves to discover great restaurants. First, the reviews are real; the food is good in comparison to anywhere, and the fish tacos are good here, yes, in Hoonah. The service is friendly and fast and the food portions are pretty large. If you’re coming from one of the those cruise ships take the shuttle or walk for 20-25 minutes to eat some delicious offering that is probably better than anything those specialty restaurants in the ship serves anyways.
A very beautiful and whimsical restaurant in Okinawa Toyosaki Mall, a great place to catch the beautiful sunset of Okinawa with great delicious food and very attentive and warm hospitality by Chen san & his team. My friends, family & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves taking very instagrammable pictures in the restaurant and enjoyed every morsel of the great food!
In Hoonah, Alaska for the day and stopped in for lunch. The hamburger I had was amazing. The was a variety of typical diner fare some with a local twist
Worth the wait! Salmon and halibut tacos are highly recommended! The food was amazing.
For a small business accommodating an overwhelming amount of people coming from cruise ships, they knocked it out of the park. Staff was kind and prompt, told us right away of the wait, it wasn't an issue. Great restaurant worth every bit of the walk or shuttle ride there.
Enjoyed a hot coffee and lunch here after a rainy morning whale watching! The potato salad was the most flavorful potato salad I’ve ever had. Don’t skip it. The salmon taco was also great
The salmon taco was to die for a couple of days ago and I've been thinking about it since then. Delicious with just the right amount of spice and flavour, but not overwhelming the taste of the salmon. The clam chowder was also really good, not creamy and not filled with flour like other places. We stopped here for a quick lunch and to get out of the rain and were not disappointed.
Awesome Alaskan coffee. Cheap prices. Not a tourist trap. Right across from the park. Outdoor seating with covered seating as well. Didn't try any food but the menu sounds awesome. Maybe a 20 to 25 minute walk from the cruise terminal.
They were out of hallibat but salmon tacos were good
