A nice cafe bar, tiny interior, but the large terrace next to the river is the main draw.
Very busy when the sun is shining.
A great place situated over the river in the low town of Bridgnorth.
The garden is a real sun trap in the afternoons in the summer where it is very popular on a hot day.
Though check out its opening hours as they are surprisingly shorter than you would think.
A few higher end lagers and ciders are available as are soft drinks gins etc. The price is quite high.
The food, however, is reasonably priced and is operating on a reduced menu during these times of Covid in August 2020.
Well worth a visit to relax in and enjoy the sun.

A delightful little pub with some very good food. A little lacking with the choice of ales (probably due to limited bar space) and very good sangria.
A good size terrace to soak up the sun and appreciate the view across the river.

A great place to go for good quality pizza with some stunning views of the River Severn. The pizza tasted good, although the service was quite slow for a pizza. Would definitely go back for drinks and the pizza though.
Lovely pub, lovely views, great service. Persian Aubergine and Spicy Sausage dishes are winners! Only slightly disappointed with the inflexibility when it came to changing one topping on a pizza which cost us an extra fiver!
Very busy in Bridgnorth the day we visited, and we had been barked at from The Old Castle pub "NO WALK INS", so set about finding a new place to eat. The staff on that shift were all fairly young, but oh my goodness, they could teach the staff at The Old Castle a thing or two! Really polite, well-mannered people with excellent customer service skills. For a young team, I was really impressed. And the food was excellent, really tasty, well priced, decent portion size and hot! I would recommend a visit there! ????
