Amazing Sunday lunch... Too much food to finish off. However, if you're a dog lover, take them too.... They have a doggie Sunday lunch for FREE,
They have recently spent money on a paint job, much more inviting than before. Only flaw; toilets need some investment.
Other than that, great staff, good pint, great Sunday roast and doggie dinner too !

Just had the best roast dinner, the food was amazing, my husband and me had a small roast and we couldn’t eat it all. It was amazing, roast pork and turkey was superb.

Good centrally located pub with great quality beers on tap. A good selection of wines and spirits is also available. An extensive food menu is provided at a reasonable price. Pleanty of seating throughout the building. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly and also has free WiFi available.
Brilliant little place In sidmouth. Was a bit weary of going in because it was empty in the restaurant section. But it's one of the few places that allows dogs to go. So decided to go for it. Food was excellent so glad we did. All meals were hot and delicious. Home made food too. The spinach and ricotta lasagna is to die for! Amazing
Good tidy pub in the middle of Sidmouth, nice range of beers and the food we had at lunch time was excellent (traditional ploughman’s with all that you would expect and a some!).
Staff friendly and while there is no outside seating area some of the windows on the front are more like French doors and when open give the atmosphere of outside but without the menace of the direct sun or the seagulls!
There appears to be live music Friday and Saturday evenings, should be good!
Do not eat here. The chips were fried in old oil.

No atmosphere tape on bar a gave away. Looks like in the past renovations had taken place and now may be being renovated again.
Facilities basic. On average a kind of sad place at the present.
This is an excellent place for refreshment in sidmouth. With keen friendly staff willing to help, great atmosphere and extremely clean and tidy, it's a great place to chill and unwind!
