I ordered a too good to go bag this evening from your store. While I am a massive supporter of reducing food waste, I don’t believe I should be paying for your food disposal. More than half the goods we’re actually off and mouldy
Very nice shop with a good range of food and drinks etc. Plus a cosy cafe area with outside and inside seating. Turkish based but very friendly and helpful. Serves breakfast as well and is open 7am to 7pm 6 days and 9am to 6pm Sundays.
Delicious turkish foods and breakfast available at fantastic prices and the owner is very friendly!
Good selection of vegan foods (e.g. nut cheeses) and proprietor was helpful when I lost part of my shopping - I found the missing item back home, thank you! There is a cafe too and I'll be back to try the vegan breakfast.
Ordered and paid for a 'surprise' bag via the Too Good to Go app for collection. Arrived at the appointed time to find the shop shut, building material strewn on the floor and not a member of staff to be seen. Very disappointing and shows they cannot be trusted.
Love this shop! Now branded as Putney Wholefoods. The quality and range of brands is fab. Lots of delectables, really high quality fruit and veg as well as treats. The staff are lovely - I was offered free fresh lemon drink :-). They do take away coffee too - I imagine it's Turkish and great.
Underrated gem! They have a lovely place, it’s both a market and a cafe- we got their 2good2go and it was delightful!
The past 3 times I've visited this store I left with items that were OFF and shouldn't be on shelves. The staff is really nice and the renovation looks great, but sadly I don't think I'll be returning to try to break the streak.
Today I left with 3 items with "Best By" dates that were up to 3 months old or mouldy: Labne, pita, and eggs. The bag of spinach I bought also doesn't have an expiration date, but the clerk said they received it yesterday - so fingers crossed.
A few months ago I went to purchase spices and couldn't find one the shelf that wasn't expired (even saw MANY 1+ year old spices for sale and I'm sure you will see them if you go in today).
This time the clerk offered me a refund, but I was running late and it seems they need the money more. It's a shame that it happened again because after this many bad experiences I don't plan on returning to - what I was hoping would be - my favourite local market. :(
