Myself and my partner recently moved to long Eaton, unfortunately my partner needed URGENT mental health treatment and support. Elaine from reception was AMAZING, I went in to the surgery before 9pm she registered my husband assessed the situation very quickly and got us the right medical support ASAP! Dr Fellows triaged my husband an hour after me visiting the surgery and then asked to see him face to face in the space of the morning we had all the help we needed. He quickly got in touch with the crisis team, who I can confirm acted very quickly. A huge thank you to the medical practice especially Elaine & Dr Fellow, thank you so much for getting us the right help we needed.
I have been a patient for over 2 years now and find this practice to be the best for supporting for me with my mental health. I find I am blessed with having such a great doctor with Dr Fogarty. She fully understands how difficult things can be with me and treats me accordingly. The same with other doctors in the practice too. All the staff, including reception, always get me the help I need and although sometimes their are hiccups with my medication they always sort things out. Apparently they have merged with another practice but so far this hasn't changed things and I am more than happy to use them as my GP's. Thank you to everyone.
I have been with this surgery 9 years. Always greeted pleasantly and politely by the admins. Dr Fogarty is so personable and professional. Always has time to listen and is very compassionate. The best GP i have had the pleasure of seeing. She sets the bar very high and I hope she never leaves.
Jen the nurse is so lovely. Always puts me and my daughter at ease. Nothing is ever any trouble for her. Answers every quiry with plenty of information. We both love her. And couldn't be more thankful. It must have been such a stressful couple of years but you'd never know from Jens level of professionalism, patience and kindness ????
Thank you to the staff for their understanding and kind nature. I never have an issue and whether I see doctor or nurse, even on the phone, they always take the time to ask if I’m ok or if there is anything I need to speak about. Some of these comments are awful and some people should be ashamed. Takes nothing to say a nice comment and treat staff with respect. You have no idea what people are dealing with or going through.
You are all doing an incredible job managing under current guidance and limitations, we all need to stop taking our NHS care for granted. Thank you all, always grateful :)
Not a very pleasant experience here. Went to submit the forms for registering with this GP. Was told by the receptionist that I have to bring in ID so I did. But another one who took the forms told me all the people registered need to come in person so I will need to do another trip.
After many attempts to ring the practice yesterday someone fibally picked up. This lady was very kind and informed me that i could ring the next day ( today) at 8am for a same day appointment. This morning i started ringing at 8.01am and the phone was busy. I made up to 30 calls and still busy. When i finally got to speak to someone at 8.32 am the appointments were gone and this lady was rude. I can understand the exhaustion in their job as i cannot imagine dealing with many calls as they do. But i do not think that waranted her very harsh tone. She could not hear me and she cut off the phone. After waiting for 30 mins to get through that is crazy! I tried again and when i tried to speak to her again she did not apologise but made it seem like it was ny fault. I was eventually booked in for a go triage which i am still waiting for. I tried to ring again this afternoon to ask roughly when i should expect it and the phone just rings out no answer. I honestly feel sorry for people who need the Drs regularly. This was my first attempt getting an appointment here and it will certainly be the last.
Parkview Medical please invest in a simple voice message to let clients know they have reached the correct surgery and also their position in the queue. Having a system where your phones just ring out and cuts after a while is not good enough!
For some reason one of these receptionists who's name starts with an E is continually rude & seems intent on stopping my mum from seeing a Dr for some reason, my mum has dementia & severe osteoporosis. This receptionist should not be in a customer service role especially when you have them in tears
