This service was offered by the insurance policy after a no fault claim. Since then I feel nothing but to blame. From the contact, to whom lacks any enthusiasm, I have had to make my own motivation to try and get this repair done. Repeating my repair time after time, the vehicle went to the workshop to be presented with an auto electrical fault that was never there. Booked in for four weeks in advance and more, I waited over 45 minutes whilst the 'customer services' receptionist wrote the white board jobs board, and the courtesy car was cleaned. I had a budget A category car for my prestige vehicle. My vehicle was left for four days to be returned with the same fault. I have since contacted the centre who did not return the call. I have further contacted the customer service that state that they called yesterday, no missed calls logged over 12 hours later. Highlighting my concerns I was assured that someone from Quality was going to contact myself, this was not done, this was concluded with a call from reception, who when I highlighted my experiences so far, and rad flagged my disability. Response, we deal with accident repairs and disability placed aside to say the manager will be here when you arrive.

I was willing to give these 5 stars. They did a brilliant job of repairing my car. You can't even tell there was damage. They kept me up to date with text messages and phone calls over the week and half they had it. They came and fetched my vehicle and left me with a suitable courtesy car. Over all I was very happy with the service. The reason I give it 3 stars is because a unicorn teddy (cheap and probably insignificant to most people but not to me and my daughter) was removed from my vehicle while in their garage. I rang and spoke to them and after 2 days of waiting for a phone call back, was told they hadn't seen it. I was told I shouldn't have left anything valuable in the car and that there was nothing they could do about it.
Be warned. If they can steal a child's teddy, they will take more valuable things! ????
Excellent service and good quality repair to my Land Rover after an accident, I was kept updated on the progress by text and phone. After picking it up there was a problem where a piece of trim was loose but it was corrected with no fuss on the same day.
Came through insurance following an accident. Cannot fault the customer service, updates and standard of work! Car feels like new again! There was a slight panel alignment issue on collection which was fixed within a couple minutes before I left.

It is hard to find anything negative to write about this company. My car was subject to a hit and run on a car park, they collected the car when they said they would, kept me constantly informed of progress by text messages.The car was cleaned after repair and returned to me as agreed. The repair is first class, you would never know it had been damaged. This is what I call service.
Had to wait 21 days from start to finish for repairs to my vehicle as I was told a mirror was on back order. I called skoda and was informed I could order and collect within 3 days. I waited over a week for this back order from the repairers.
On collection there was a chrome trim missing from the front bumper area which I was told it was there and must have come off?!? Again this part had to be ordered and I’m still waiting as of 25/04/2018!! A week later I hear rattling underneath my engine at the front. Upon inspection the plastic engine guard is all out of line and only half the retaining clips and screws fastened, the rest were missing! Called them to discuss the matter of the chrome trim being fitted by a mobile engineer and at the same time correct fitting of the engine guard!! Someone will call you back right away I was told..hour later I’m still waiting. Not a happy chap, terrible standard of work and customer service experience for me i’m afraid.
If I could give no stars, I would do. They've had my car for five and a half weeks now. My car was taken there after an accident. It had a broken steering rack and a smashed in wing. The problems started from day one when they couldn't (or wouldn't) give me a courtesy car. Took them over two weeks to get one to me. Then they told me they were waiting on an alloy wheel. A week after I was told it'd been dispatched, they said it had "accidentally" been sent to Crawley instead of Crewe (???) and they were trying to locate it. I was supposed to get my car back yesterday but after not hearing from them (they NEVER call you back or keep you updated, you have to constantly chase them) I called and they told me they were just about to bring it back to me and the engine management light came on as they were driving it away. They said they'd done a diagnostic and couldn't find anything wrong so they'd have to send it to VW!! My car has NEVER had a problem until it went to this bunch of cowboys. I've been fobbed off, lied to, ignored, kept in the dark and am absolutely bloody gutted that my car is in the hands of these morons. I just want it back now. I'm exhausted from having to chase them and can only imagine what state my car is in right now. Be warned everyone, this is the Crewe branch of Howard Basford and I wouldn't trust them with a child's toy, let alone a car I adored and cared about. They need to apologise and tell me the truth about what they've been doing. In fact, no, they need shutting down! They're rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and have no clue about customer service.
Had my car over a week it’s not even been looked at yet, when I called my insurance company the price they charge WOW £2500 for work been quoted £450 for yes definitely picking up my car and going else where. Sorry guys I’m out and want my car back
