Small traditional bakery, it was very clean and tidy. The pastries were still hot when I arrived. The donuts were really nice, not dripping fat. The brownie was one of the best I ever had in a bakery and the sausage roll was very good too. I also had an apple slice that was great. Tried 3 different types of bread, and the sourdough was not nice, but the other breads were fairly decent. The price is very reasonable. The lady at the counter looked very depressed and was not very welcoming, but I am not always in the best mood at work either, so that's fine. Good selection of traditional British pastries plus a few other pastry items. Very pleased overall. Step free entrance, wide enough for a pram.

I got a magic bag from here today. The bread, doughnuts etc were amazing. So fresh and a more than generous portion. So great to see an ethical business not let food go to waste. The service was brilliant too. Thank you, we will be back!
Loved coming here each week however it’s really gone downhill. Under new management maybe? The past 3 weeks the sausage rolls have been so stale! So

Also they are now charging 12p for a plastic bag!

All the pastries cakes in the window were being crawled all over by ants and had flies flying around them. When I discreetly tried telling a staff member about the ants I was shushed and told they couldn’t see them. Will not be going here again
Brought 2 cakes from the Chislehurst bakery. Both were really stale and dry. Would have had much better cakes from sainsburys for less money.
Best bread around. Fab super seedy.
