I am glad I didn’t pay for the work that they did but when you buy a car that has suppose to have been repaired by them at the cost of £285 and within 9 months it’s got the same fault as it was a bodged up rather than repaired properly
If i could have given Half Star, i would have the worst garage to go they tried to charge me £135 for 30 minutes work this was just a labour charge to fit a part,

He did the full job in 25 minutes and charged just £25 what an ace guy david is and a great mechanic
Due to not having used my car for weeks, when I did use it, smoke came from one of my front wheels. Something to do with pads being stuck (sorry am totally ignorant about mechanics). It got sorted next day for an amazing reasonable price. Thanks so much! Will certainly use this garage again.
Called with an issue, they looked at the car straight away. Seemed friendly enough.
Doesn't get 5 stars because they charged £50 to check the car over and inflate one tire. Just seemed too steep a price for the work done.
E A Mitchinson came to our rescue when we were holidaying in Staveley and our clutch burnt out. They even went to get the car which we had to abandon about 4 miles outside Staveley, when we were let down by the RAC. Lovely friendly service, made sure our car was fixed and ready to go for our return home. Would definitely recommend.
I dropped my son (who is at University) car off to be MOT'd with a note specifically asking to call me prior to completing any work which may need to be done to get the car through the MOT as it would be up to my son whether or not he wanted to pay for the work, scrap the car or go elsewhere
- Instead no call was made and work to the suspension was completed triggering an additional bill of over £325! This same thing has happened before and I'm afraid to say that after using the garage for many years I will not be doing so again
