Standard of food always great, these guys work hard. Questionable hygiene though. Not sure how they get away with all the ‘long hair’ swishing about, looks awful. A girl carried out 6 bacon pastries from the kitchen in her bare hands grouped up under her chin against her long blonde hair and dumped them in a tray, if that happens in front of customers what’s happening behind the scenes?!
Hair nets, Tongs and a bit of respect for our food please.
First time visiting today and certainly won’t be the last.

Great food, but I always feel very uncomfortable when visiting. It’s small inside, there’s a strange atmosphere & I’ve never found any of the staff very welcoming. I’ve visited twice and have felt incredibly awkward on both occasions, despite being a very sociable person. Perhaps it’s because I’m not a regular? If staff were friendly and had greater customer service experience, it’d be much improved.
Called here late Tuesday morning. The hot traditional pasties were very tasty as were the flapjack and ice swirl with a cherry on top.

Small traditional bakers. Good range of breads baked by an experienced baker on offer. Hot and cold pastries and pizza's too. Some lovely muffins, flapjacks and other sweet treats available. They also do a roaring trade in sandwiches and rolls. These are made to order and fillings adapted on request. Absolutely fabulous and very reasonably priced. There is a small restaurant where sandwiches, cakes and drinks are available. The staff are really friendly and welcoming.
We had lemon donut today it was out of this world. We have not tasted one like that before.
Great little independent bakery that provides a wonderful service to the local community.
The bread is always freshly baked and full of flavour.
Sandwiches are made to order with the filling of your choice.
While the cakes and pastries are a dieters nightmare, once tasted almost impossible to resist.
It's comforting to see they continue to observe all the necessary measures required for social distancing due to Covid-19.
