I only ever have cod and chips and I have to say this is the loveliest cod and chips I've eaten anywhere. Consistently lovely over many years. Prices have risen over the years and presently paying £6.70. Food hygiene rating of 5 and staff are friendly and efficient.
The fish very thin , hardly any fish, batter was oily , chip very average with some old chips mixed in , very disappointed
I'm guessing there are new owners because the chips have improved dramatically since I last visited.
