Definitely not my food. Thank you for this experience.
Restaurant situated in front of big market Morrison. It is a not small place.
In place all time play indian music. A little bit loud. Some of sound pieces were very nice.
I ordered main meal paneer in something not spicy (all food in this place spicy or medium spicy) served with naan bread, pilau saffron rice, fried rice with eggs and green peas, lemon green tea.
The main thing is that I came here to try pilau saffron rice. I was wondering how it tastes when prepared by experts. And i must say, nothing special. Will try made it is in home, hope it is will be more tasty.
Next i try fried rice with eggs and green peas. It is were a little bit spicy but tasty. I would really like to learn how to cook fried rice and egg together, like they do in places like here.
Main meal completely wasn't tasty for me. Paneer was ok, but in sauce or what it is was, were too much fat ( oil or butter, i do not know).
So in this place taste for me were just cup of green lemon tea.
A very good attempt at Indian(North West) preparations. Service is pretty fast. They should definitely invest more on getting it closer to authentic Indian dish levels. Some spices are louder than expected in dishes. We tried only vegetarian.
An Indian restaurant in Inverness with taste of India. Food quality is fine, also quantity is satisfactory. Recommend for a change from British or Scottish taste.
Though there is a scope of improvement in quality of foods as this is my own cuisine.
Tandoori was the best out of all. Hot & spicy !
Chicken curry , saag paneer was average. Onion bhaji is good.
Staff was courteous and friendly. Lovely ambience.
Tried here again, not having been for a few years. It was much better than the last time. Staff polite and friendly.
Will return
Travelled all the way to Inverness from London to eat here. I must say I was very impressed with the food and the service. The restaurant boasts a very ambient majestic decor which suits the town. The interior is very cosy and welcoming.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and spice and the portions were very good too. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming to our group and especially the 2 brothers who run the place. Thank you.
The food is excellent. But the staff is not really friendly and the restaurant doesn’t comply with hygiene standards. But I do recommend if you want to try Indian food. The prices are bit to high for the service they offer tough
Had a delivery/take-out service, absolutely amazing meals can't fault it in any way!! Delivery loons kept us well informed and to top it off a free bottle of ginger!! ????
