Nice spacious cafe which looks to be very dog and kid friendly (it was very quiet when we were there). Big, well made, proper generous pot of tea for two was the highlight! My main advice to them would be to use less obviously processed ingredients. The bread was ultra processed (and stale) as was the reconstituted ham. Switching to local bread and decent butchers ham, and better cheese would make all the difference. It might mean smaller portion sizes, or an extra £1 on the menu, but would get 5 stars from me.
An absolute Gem of a find. The owner and Staff, all put themselves out for you. To make your time with them Special. The food is superb just like sitting down with my Mum For one of her great Sunday Roast Dinners. The rest of the week is just as good.
Please book a table in advance for Sunday because it gets extremely busy, so you wont be disappointed. By the way my Wife had the veggie option and said it was wonderful.
Give it a try you will not be disappointed.
I've been here a couple of times now for breakfast with my friends and my children. The food is lovely, it has a great outdoor area and the staff are lovely too.

Had a lovely afternoon tea for 4, price £20pp. It was filling and very enjoyable. Sandwiches were very fresh fluffy bread, generous fillings, and tasty. Scones light and fluffy, the cake selection was very nice but not great, but that's personal taste, I'm not a Victoria Sponge lover, although this was light and fluffy just boring, there was also a cupcake and a fruit stick. I've seen pictures of other teas that include savouries. I guess this is by special request and not the norm. The staff are very dog friendly and extremely welcoming. Our daughter and her boyfriend brought their two dogs, and they were looked after super well with fresh water and clean cosy fleece to snuggle on. They both got a treat biscuit, so we're very happy. Happy dogs = happy owners. The approach to the units is in need of attention, very bad pot holes, and will put us off attending again until the better weather, when you can see how deep they are!
Beautiful cafe & dog friendly. Staff were very welcoming and there’s a log burner to keep warm.
We tried their breakfast and was very satisfied. Coffee was hot and the food was delicious, we will be back soon to try the rest of the menu.

A great tearoom. The ploughman’s lunch included freshly cooked gammon ham, two very nice cheeses and warm fresh bread. Staff are lovely and very welcoming. Will definitely be back!
Lovely cute place, with very friendly and helpful staff. Food it's amazing.
Highly recommend whenever you want to just catch up with your friends over coffee and cake or have a full on breakfast/lunch feast!
