Took my car to Mark today based on excellent reviews for service and MOT - I was not disappointed, did not try to sell me things I didn’t need, actually advised I didn’t need the bigger service I thought I did. Very knowledgable about all things BMW. Carried all work out same day, provided top class BMW hire car and even waited more than 30m after closing time for me as I was delayed due to traffic and insisted it was fine and not to worry. Highly recommend, 100% better than a main dealer and I will be using again next year!

What fantastic service, thank you, I couldn't have asked for more. Having contacted North Oxford BMW about a vibration coming from my X1, I was told that there was a 2 week wait for an appointment (with no courtesy car available - an appointment with a courtesy car would take around 2 months), an hourly "diagnosis" charge for the problem to be identified, followed by the cost of repairs. Ringing around to see if there were any other options, one of my local garages recommended Mark Purcell to me as BMW specialists. When I rang, I was asked if I could bring in the car the same afternoon, which I did, and they diagnosed the problem pretty much immediately (with no charge), explained it to me and talked me through the options, advised on the cheapest and best (which was much appreciated as I know nothing about cars), ordered the parts, and squeezed in an appointment for me the next day to carry out the repairs, which were completed by midday. Phenomenal service at an incredibly reasonable price, and really nice guys to boot! My only regret is not finding them sooner - I've already booked in my next service :-).
I had my Mini Countryman Cooper serviced and MOT’d today. I had read the reviews and this looked a much better option than being rinsed by a local main dealer. Very happy with the outcome. Car feels great and I am a happy customer. Thank you John, great job !
Great service every time. They always go above and beyond and are very honest. Proper mechanics. They have never overcharged for work that wasn't needed (unlike the BMW dealerships and other independents), they will even tell you if they think you should save your money and do it differently or not at all (although will do it if you insist). They even told me when to sell my car to maximise my profit, potentially losing a customer. I would buy another BMW just to know that I could always trust that it was being looked after properly and to know that I was dealing with honest mechanics.
The best bit was that they fixed an issue that BMW dealership couldn't fix (still charged £1500 trying), another big BMW recommended independent couldn't fix (charged £1000)... took them 2 weeks each... took it to Mark Purcell (the first time I ever heard of this place) as a "well here goes nothing"... came out with a perfectly working car in 1 day and at the cost of £150. It's never had the issue again (5 years and counting) and I've been back ever since.
One of the best experiences I have had with car service. Mark was super knowledgable and knows what he is doing. Phoned him up about my gearbox issue and he booked my car in quickly and gave me a loan car. Work was completed and on collection Mark informed me of everything. Will be returning for servicing and future work!
