If you've been trying to find a place that listens to what you want and does a wonderful job giving you that, this is it! I am very happy to find this salon and get my short hair cut fixed from the last place that butchered it. I will be back and can't wait until I save up for some fun colors in the future.

I've been seeing Diane for awhile now. She's colored my hair, done highlights and also tried and cut my hair. She also has done waxing on my eyebrows. There was times I told her have fun with my hair. Never do that to anyone but her because I trust her. Definitely recommend this place.

My friend and husband told me about this little shop- so I gave it a shot. This is the first time in YEARS I have truly loved the way my hair came out- Liz did a really good job and she's such a pleasure- She feels like an old friend you haven't seen in a while. I can't wait to get my hair touched up by her in the coming week! The staff is all so friendly and they encompass what a good work environment is. Cheers!

The entire salon is full of amazing artists. Diane and Liz take tremendous care of my hair. Angela is a wizard as a massage therapist. Sue gave me the best facial ive ever had. You cant loose here. The staff, pricing and skills are unmatched by other salons.

I have been struggling with finding a good salon and hairdresser to understand what I want. I decided to ask around on the surrounding towns yard sale sites on Facebook for some help and it seemed like everyone recommend Alter Ego. Since I live in Berkley I figured I would give them a try and I'm glad I did! From the time I walked in to the time I left both Diane and Liz had me feeling like I have been a long time client. Diane did my foils and cut and I love it. She did exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend this salon and I will definitely be back! Thank you girls for making me feel so welcomed.
