I had the fish soup and was very good. Hearty and very well spiced. The grilled seabass marinated in olive oil and wine was excellent! And the green fish curry was perfectly spiced with a lovely coconut milk base. All in all outstanding. Service was very attentive. Kudos to the new Management!
Chips were dry, stale, hard and fish batter did not have much flavour. The price was extremely expensive at 16.50 for 1 fish and chips. I can get enough food for 2-3 people at some other take aways. No value for money and was disappointed. Wouldn't recommend

Really good quality fish and lots of options. It can be a bit expensive though unfortunately.
Highly recommended the fish and chips which for a fish restaurant is an essential to get well.

Extremely delicious food! The dishes were lovely, the seabass was really good and the crispy cod with garlic was great. But to top it all off the thai red curry with haddock was incredible. Been to Thailand three times but haven’t tried a red curry as delicious as here. Next time will try the green curry! Staff and owners really lovely too. We will definitely be back again. Thank you!
Excellent Thai green curry - It does taste like Thai curry but not enough and misses real tang, chilli and bamboo shoots. Fresh ingredients and beautifully made otherwise.
This restaurant has just reopened and has an extensive fish menu. We had a very nice meal there and hope to return in the future.
Hello, if you want sushi ???? DO NOT GO THERE. 2 out of 4 dishes were not available. Waitress asked us wether we need soya sauce (to eat with sushi? of course! no need to ask! ) toilet door does not lock! instead of electric dryer (hanging on the wall but does not work! ) there is dirty towel!! yuk! Terrible old furniture and absolutely gross chairs (see photo). And absolutely ridiculously high prices!
Absolutely fantastic takeaway meal from White Fish. The food travelled so well. The fish and chips were "the real deal". Hot, crispy and fresh. The mushy peas also satisfied this very fussy northerner.
I have eaten in at White Fish numerous times too and had an brilliant experience and excellent food every time.
Love the warm and friendly staff too!
