My friend and I went birding in Berrien Springs, and were quite hungry after the hike. I have driven past this place before, and when I Googled "Nearby restaurants," this popped up, so off we went. Service was good. I like the interior, especially with the little paintings on the wall. When I saw that they have Chimichurri Steak, I had to order that to share with my friend! Everything on the plate was great, and they actually cooked it right (Medium rare). Crawfish Etoufee is hard to find in Michigan, and especially Crawfish AND Shrimp Etoufee, so I HAD to try it. No words needed, phenomenal! Finally, dessert, chocolate bread pudding. Yummy!
Absolutely delicious food. Plus, the atmosphere is very lively. Our server was very kind and attentive. Will come back the next time we visit Michigan.
I was here on a gals get away. This was our first stop after arriving in Berrien Springs. The pulled BBQ brisket and pork combo was good. But it was not quite hot as I like it. It was more of a luke warm which is why only 4 stars.
The service was very fast and friendly from arriving to us leaving! We had our plates within 5 minutes of ordering. The wine I selected paired greatly with the dish, Prophecy Pinot Noir.
This was probably my eighth visit and once again, everything was fantastic! They're 8/8. And as for this dish, the "Three Sisters" vegetarian -- it's a wonderful medley of veggies --butternut squash, peppers, onions, beans, and corn all perfectly seasoned with garlic and balsamic served with a side of herbed polenta. No joke, each time I take a bite I find myself saying "mmmmmm!"
Spotted this tucked away restaurant a long time ago & always wanted to go but never stopped until today. My Aunt & Uncle asked where I wanted to go for a birthday meal so I said Wheatberry. Good amount of food for the price, fairly clean, & great staff.
Really good food. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Server was nice and helpful. A good, local eatery.
Took my dad, mom and buddy Donna here for Father's day dinner. Dad & Donna had lobster and we had the prime sirloin for dinner. Everything was delicious and all had a good time
I've been here 5 times and never had a good meal, only great. Their smoked items are done in house for 12 hours. Almost every month there is a special theme for a weekend that's amazing. Great beer choices that rotate frequent. Great staff, fun environment. Have recommended to everyone that I know. I plan a night around the trip there, it's well worth it.
