Ordered an apple pecan salad, pulled up to pay and was then asked to back up from the window so they could game their timers and make it look like they are working faster than they are. When I was beckoned forward again I was asked if I wanted FRESH CHICKEN? I don't know what they would have given me had I said no to that. Then told to park in the handicap spot. My food came quickly after that so I'm not convinced I was given "fresh" chicken. Never again.
The dining room is nasty, the soda machine looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks, and the worst part is 2 managers were sitting in the dining area. One doing arts and crafts and the other interviewing new hires. Our order took 8 mins and wasn't hot. And I understand helping the homeless, but helping can be getting them assistance not letting them sleep at tables.
Nothing but drug smoke in the lobby. Before I could enter the establishment, a fat, black lady with red eyes stopped me at the door and told me the lobby was closed and that I'd need to go through the drive-thru, instead. I could smell the drugs without even entering the building. From the drive-thru, you could tell all of the employees were very high. There's no telling what else is going on in there because my entire order was old and nasty. I can't afford to waste my money and time. I will never go there again.
Every single time I go to this location they get my order wrong.

I live in downtown portsmouth so this is the closest one to me but I refuse to eat here.
I will go out of my way to drive to Fredrick Blvd if I want Wendys.
This location is trash!
Dirty place, the staff does not attend, they only talk to each other, the attention is terrible and when they want they attend you. The attention is unpleasant. The place smells bad and they have the heating very hot
Spicy chicken sandwich... cold fries and a 4 piece hard as rocks = $15.. I took a little bite.. disappointed ???? save ya money ???? or just go to chick Fila!!
They did not give me a full set of fries. The box was mostly empty with only a few fries in it. I would say about 10-12 pieces of fries and they were all small pieces. What a waste of money!
I will drive the extra few minutes to go to the other one. Took 15 - 20 mins to get a chicken sandwich and some chicken nuggets. Order wasn't even brought out completely to our car. Took 3 trips to get our 2 sandwiches, nuggets, and 2 drinks.
