I think we can all agree this isn't the best Wendy's location, but it's not all bad. Like most fast food places, the food will be freshest during rush hours (lunch and dinner). If you go outside of these times, ask them to make everything fresh before you order. Trust me, it's worth the wait. IMO, a freshly made Dave's Double combo gives Five Guys a serious run for their money, and it's a lot cheaper.
Y’all I ordered a natural lemonade like I do everyday tell me y I was served sour lemonade telling them it taste awful only for this lil boy to keep telling me it’s natural as if I’m stupid there is jus one good worker at this location I wish I asked her for her name everything is on point wen she serves me the lemonade was yellow that’s not a natural color and tasted like it was jus lemon and water ntn more worst tasting lemonade I’ve ever ordered from here I’m jus gonna keep going to the Meriden branch the employees in Wallingford don’t care it’s not about the customers annnndddd my fries was cold smh.
I had to go get bk lemonade I use to say Wendy’s was better now Bks is better ???? look at Wendy’s lemonade y’all they served me lime with ice
Tied for lowest rated Wendy's in CT for a reason. Food is fine more often than its not for what its worth. Quality is occasionally a bit shaky but never to the point where its a major concern. Waits are always wild for the customer volume regardless of ordering method (in-store, drive-thru, delivery), but employees being consistently surprised/disdainful that you're ordering their food seems like a red flag. I'll stop by here every few months as Wendy's is generally a pretty good option for fast food, but every time I'm reminded that location and ownership matter when it comes to franchise restaurants. Make good choices, there are better run options in the area.
Took 45 minutes to get nearly all of our food; when we did, and they forgot a chicken sandwich, the manager said “I gave you a refund, I’m not making anything else” so my sister just didn’t get her food, I guess. No drive thru traffic, no in person traffic. The cashier wasn’t even bad, bro was just doing his job. The fries ended up cold, and the Dr. Pepper was somehow interpreted as root beer. What the heck happened here?
genuinely the worst fast food place i’ve ever been to. Got parked for a mobile order just for them to forget the drink that came with the MEAL i had received. When my boyfriend went in to get the soda they made him bring in a receipt (that they didn’t give us) so he brought in the phone with the order and even then they accused him of lying to get a drink and said every bag comes with a receipt but we never got one. The man at the front made backhanded comments when we were trying to get what we paid for.
5/10/23: The experience was horrible for the past few years now the food quality has significantly gotten worse. Don't even get me started on how many arguments have started when I am simply trying to have a nice lunch with my grandparents
Edit 10/28/23: me and my mom went to get a quick bite and was met with filthy counter and trash overflowing with trash. When I politely asked them to pick up the trash I was told "that's not my job". They also gave us a normal coke when we asked for diet. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but my mother is a diabetic. When I went to ask for them to change it I stood there 20 minutes waiting for anyone to come to the counter when I could be clearly seen.
I gave this place 3 tries before leaving a poor review because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. In my last 3 visits here between December and January, I received the wrong order once after waiting 15 minutes behind 1 other customer. I waited another 15 to get the correct order. The next time I ordered a chicken sandwich and a frosty. Took about 20 minutes and I was, again, behind 1 other person. The third time (you guessed it) after waiting for an abnormal amount of time, I had Mayo all over the burger I specifically asked for no Mayo on. The workers seemed aggravated when I asked for a new one. I heard one person say quietly, can't he just scrape it off? it takes a lot for me to leave a poor review but I will never return to this Wendy's.
They were out of lced tea. The screwed my the kids meals. They made me pull forward and wait while made the food. I guess I expect fast food like it used to be.
