Neither my receipt nor the mechanic verified that the tune-up I requested was done, so I have no idea what was actually checked. The mechanic would only say, sort of vaguely, that he "didn't notice anything." I got the impression he wasn't supposed to talk to me Further, I believe either the clutch fluid wasn't changed, or the clutch wasn't inspected, or the fluid wasn't bled properly, or a combination, because the fluid is dark, and it was low. I had to top it off and bleed it myself. The extra star is for the receptionist being nice, whether or not she had anything to do with the documentation.
Great service, friendly and very professional. Moved to the area eight years ago got referred to them and won't go anywhere else. Don't have to worry that a mechanic is overcharging me or doing needles repairs..

From the desk staff to the wrench turners, Welch is a rare example of a modern shop with old school sense of ethics. It may be tough nowadays to find an honest and fair mechanic...but it's not impossible! Cheap and quality car service! Highly recommended
Brought my car there And told them my My CV joint needed to be replaced. Told me he wasn't gonna go just do that Without looking at it which was reasonable. So So I left my car there for them to look at it and work on it. Told me that it was the ball joint. And there was nothing wrong with the axles. But yet when I make short terms, it still does the same thing on the same side. In my windshield, weather has been caught with a metal cutter. My negative battery cable was loosened up. I had none of those extra problems before I bring it there.
I just discovered this gem today!
I needed to change my battery and went to my usual car shop. It turns out they tried to charge me $400+ with other 'necessary' services (I just paid over $1200 one month ago due to some 'necessary' services when coming in for seasonable snow tire change, and my car is only a bit over 50k miles). Therefore, I decide to change the car shop.
Based on the reviews and location, I found Welch. The reception is very nice and warm, and all my questions are answered promptly and clear. I was only charged a bit over $150 for all the necessary services ($150 vs $400!!). What's amazing is that all the work was done extremely quick! I feel they are capable and honest. I'm definitely coming back for all the future services.
