Best KPortal Reviews

We loved this Watami location!! Service was great and using an iPad for ordering was so nice to get have a visual and description of what we were ordering. Everything was super tasty and fresh, we will definitely be returning????
Best sushi in broad ripple. The owners son was so so kind and generous. I won’t go anywhere else and the all you can eat sushi is so worth it!! The 465 roll is amazing and every piece of nigiri is perfect. The tuna and yellowtail were perfect
Best sushi I’ve ever had! The owner’s are so kind and care so much about their food and atmosphere. I had the 465 roll and it was the best roll I’ve ever had. Can’t beat $25 all you can eat!
Food: The food was delicious and I personally really liked the salmon and mackerel sashimi. Their hand rolls were really good too. The surprising roll I really liked was the Hotboy roll. The smokiness of the fire really brings out the flavor. The only complaint I have is how they pack the rice in the rolls. You can tell the rice was packed like no tomorrow to make you full faster and order less.
Service: Fast, prompt. Cute cat robot thing that ran around the restaurant as well. Everything was attended to in a timely fashion. No complaints here.
Atmosphere: They have a sushi bar so you can sort of see the chefs make your rolls. They also have cool vending machines and claw machines in the restaurant so you can buy snacks or try to get a toy.
I ordered takeout so I can only really rate the food. I ordered sashimi specifically because I am attempting low carb. I ordered the sashimi deluxe and salmon roe (ikura) as sashimi. The fish seems pretty good and the serving seems generous. The downside is that they served me tobiko instead of ikura. I specified ikura, as it is my favorite. Ikura is a much larger and robust fish egg than tobiko and is quite distinct in my opinion. Despite my disappointment from the incorrect item, I enjoyed the rest of my meal.
Excellent service that matches the food! Very fun machines that dispense Japanese snacks and "fancy" cotton candy was a nice surprise. Quiet and a fantastic bargain. Can't recommend enough!
I’ve been here several times now and the sushi is amazing every time!! We always order the all you can eat menu and the value is incredible. If you can eat a lot, I recommended it! The quality of the fish is great, and the all you can eat menu also includes things like appetizers, cooked items and dessert. I’ll be coming back every weekend!
We've come here since before the pandemic, and we were glad to see them adapt during the early days by opening a drive-through. I value how Alan, the owner, continues to improve the place. This past summer Watami added cute outdoor seating. Additionally, he genuinely cares about the quality of the food and making people feel at home.
I suggest pacing yourself when ordering since there is a charge per piece for leaving more than 7 pieces of sushi on the table at the end of your meal.
They now have a cotton candy machine. The machine prompts are in a different language but you can ask someone for help and you can choose the shape for the top of cotton candy. It looks beautiful and the flavor is pretty good.
On a general note, the place is clean and well-kept. The staff is attentive, and the food comes out fast. If you come at peak hours, you might have to wait a bit for a table, but that’s expected for an all-you-can-eat sushi place. The one thing I noticed is that they don’t have a changing table in the women’s restroom. Watch out for potholes in the parking lot.
