Everyone was so nice for lunch! Texas bacon patty melt, yummy yummy
The table and menu were half covered with syrup and sticky so I wiped down what I could with the dry baby napkins at the table, and bless her heart, the waitress watched me while she asked me what I wanted. Then the two tables that sat after me got served before my waitres remembered to put in my order. And when I finally got my order it was wrong and incomplete. And they were not busy or understaffed, there were 5 or 6 people working.

Went into Waffle House today and tried something different. ???? LOL!!!
It was a very long time since I had an awesome sandwich that was crispy and crunchy at the same time.
I ordered a hash brown sausage-egg and cheese sandwich. The hash browns were cooked crispy inside the ring. It was delicious and very filling. This is a great breakfast dish that can be made anytime and you can add on as your taste buds desires. Enjoy and create your favorite food.
We LOVE Waffle House and make it a point to stop at them every time we go visit family. We love the cooks with cigarettes behind their ears. The servers that call you honey and darling. Not here though. The service here was absolutely awful. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone came up to get our drinks. Then we went ahead and ordered at the same time. Our drinks were brought one at a time which was wild. Literally one by one. Our larger plates (all star plates) were brought out after about 20 minutes however the smaller items like just an order of hashbrowns with onions and gravy took about 30 minutes. Then arrived with cheese and hashbrown only. I didnt order cheese on them but said it’s fine can you add onions and gravy. The gravy was so cold it stood 2 inches off the hash brown in a blob in the center of the hashbrowns. I asked if that could be warmed and they took it back. The two single order of waffles we ordered took the longest about 40 minutes. I had already paid before the waffles even arrived. After about 50 minutes total my hashbrown was brought back to the table warm this time but still didn’t have onions. I just left it on the table because at this point everyone was done eating and I had just received mine. My toddler had waited 40 minutes for a waffle and was annoyed and whining. So I was done. Our total was over $40 but only two people ate of the 5. We never got one refill on a single drink including coffee which was empty within 10 minutes of us being there. Several other tables arrived after us and had all their food and left before we even got all of our.
WORST sausage and egg breakfast sandwich ever. AND they tried to jack up the price on our order: We're staying in the hotel nextdoor, and checked the menu online: The website said the items should be $3.25 each, and when my husband went to order them, they wanted over $11 for two of them and a small cup of coffee.
Food is exactly what youre expecting when you think of a breakfast joint from an 80s movie diner without the smoking. Im not saying this in a negative viewpoint. You will understand once you eat here. Food is actually really good. Theyve had the same cook there for decades. He does an amazing job. I highly recommend their breakfast bowls and their scramblers. If you are going to get their waffles, make sure you eat them there while theyre fresh. Because if you take it to go, by the time you make it home the texture is like the microwaved kind. It has nothing to do with the quality of the waffle itself, it has to do more with the container. It retains moisture from the steam and therefore causes soggyness.
Great place to go me and my business partner go there every morning almost he introduced it to me about oh what 7 years ago and is a great place check it out especially if you order from the menu that nobody knows about you can ask him for the white paper menu ...
I ordered a Texas sausage egg and cheese melt, instead I got bacon. I would have been ok if the egg would have been completely cooked. I’ve never had such horrible food from Waffle House. I definitely won’t be back, at this point I want my money back. Baton Rouge service industry is straight trash, no matter where I go I get straight bull???? service, I’m tired of spending my money and receiving bad service and or food!!
