Best KPortal Reviews

One of the homiest, calming places in the nearest cities and towns! Even when it’s super busy you are able to drown out the noise with family, friends, loved ones, or yourself! I’ve been stopping by Village baker for many many years, and it still is able to keep up its charm! The food is always hot and delicious , the drinks are always tastey and refreshing for whatever season it may be!
Just the most devine little spot! I'm in from out of state and this bakery and cafe hit the spot after a day of drunken airplane travel. I got the lobster benedict and it was just lovely. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the cream corn but it turned out to be a perfect addition. It's soo creamy and delicate with the succulent lobster meat. The hollandaise was the best I've had in a long time. 10/10 would eat again and again.
Also the bakery just makes the whole place smell heavenly. I definitely left with a loaf. ????????
Wow...what a great place in a nice little town. Menu is amazing. A real bakery too.
The food is delicious and there are so many options it was hard to decide! All of the staff are helpful and friendly and made our dining experience so enjoyable. Then I used the women's bathroom and it made me smile. The diverse collection of pictures of amazing women smiling back at me. And to my delight there were information cards about each one. Good food and women’s history is a great combo!
We ordered takeout from here and it did not disappoint! The pizza and the pretzels were *excellent*. I did not care for the curry (?) flavor in the beer cheese - too eclectic for me - but my husband loved it. We'd definitely eat here again!
A friend reccomend this place. First time here and definitely will be back. Cute atmosphere, great service, and great options for breakfast/lunch. I was deciding between 2 items, and I went with the Croque Madame. This was amazing. From the Ham, Gruyere cheese, Sourdough bread, and the béchamel. It was all the right flavers. The Ham was thin cut. The bread was fresh and flavorful. Dont forget to check out the bakery before leaving!
Highly recommend.
While visiting the area we stopped in for lunch and had fine time with good food. On our way out my husband bought a fresh pretzel from the bakery and I had one bite. The next day we went back and bought 3! So heavenly.
Strawberry filled French toast was delicious! Nice and fresh and the syrup..on point! Definitely recommend for a good home style breakfast.
