What I love about this place is it's not like any other sandwich shop, they've captured the almost dive bar vibe/specialty eatery very well. Some might call it hipster and maybe they are right but it works and they make amazing sandwiches so more power to them. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny day or a fun night out and their indoor area is also well equipped. Great for families too! We ordered the Beast on yeast (gluten free bread) the Tea bird and Little Havana. They hit the spot! 10/10 would recommend.
If you are part of the bicycle community or e community don’t come here. I have a e-bike and I like going where I’m welcomed. I love going somewhere especially with an outside patio to hang with friends. My friend met up with us who had skates and he was told he had to sit down by Dalton. He literally is riding skates so how is he suppose to move. I’m big on customer service and live in the area will definitely not come back. There is literally no one here for it to be such a big deal. Our friend who runs a bike ride recommended this spot because Mondays they have a vicmac sandwich so that’s why we came. Never again!!!!!!
Just came here for the first time. We tried the Little Havana, Hambo, Coconut Curry soup (the soup of the day), and the Coke Whiskey slushy. I’ve tried multiple different restaurants in Atlanta and majority are bland. The food here was delicious. The sandwiches are very small and you’re not going to get full just by eating one. I normally don’t go to most of these restaurants more than once but I’ll definitely come back. The customer service was excellent, the waiter made us feel welcomed and constantly checked in on us.
Victory is an all around incredible spot. They have really unique sandwiches, and some of the best chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever eat.
It’s a nice tucked away little getaway in the Inman Park area of town. Definitely nice for lunch or dinner.
A little not-so-secret menu item at this location is the “Vic Mac.” A play on the Big Mac. It’s definitely something worth trying if you find yourself at this location after 10PM, but you honestly can’t go wrong with ordering a couple of their sandwiches.
Oh, and don’t be afraid to order more than one. The sandwiches are very reasonable sizes, and basically made to be sampled.
Stumbled upon on a Friday night.. recieved a warm welcome from bartenders, a well made drink, and prompt service.
The quality was not the best but given how affordable, made to order, and ready it was (on a busy night) I was not complaining.
Overall, good spot to pop in and enjoy a few drinks and bar food in.
This place has great seating options: ample outdoor space, indoor by the bar, or indoor but open air around the side of the bar. The music is a bit loud by the bar but they play great music and there are plenty other seating options if loud music is not your vibe. The outdoor seating is a big tent that seems dog friendly!
The sandwiches themselves are really delicious and unique, and you can either be snacky and get one, or get multiple for a full meal. They are almost priced like tacos where you’re expected to get multiple.
There’s and amazing coke and rum summer slushee that i highly recommend.
It’s walkable from the belt line which is amazing, however parking is also decent. There is a small lot (about 8 spots) , and overflow street parking on Bernina Ave. Bernina is one way though, so if you check the parking lot and it’s full, you’d have to drive around the block and find a spot on Bernina. I’ve never struggled to find parking.
There is also sometimes a ping pong table in the open air seating in the building which seems fun! but I’ve never tried to get in on a game so i don’t know the culture around ping pong there.
Thumbs up, across-the-board, especially the staff - Meagan and cohort. They allowed me to order takeout right before they were closing ????????. Cuban sandwich and the “Not a Cobb salad” are very tasty and excellent quality/price ratio. If you’re hungry order two sammies, but even just one is a great snack, MUCH heftier than a slider. Kitchen forgot bacon bits on my salad but hey, it was almost closing time Casual fun vibes. Full bar. Easy parking late night. How have I not known about this place before? —it is tucked away, I will definitely revisit.
I love this place. Great atmosphere, service, and drinks but the fact this all the chips they give you with one sandwich is not cool.
