Well since leaving a 5 star review. They have doubled the amount of onion in absolutely everything, and when you ask for no onion they add it anyway, and I called the manager and he ignored me and was rude on the phone. So instead of calling to complain this time I am posting photos. This is the burnt tortilla they gave my grandson this morning. His kids burrito was so burnt I peeled the tortilla off and fed him the innards with a spoon and got him food elsewhere.
Bueno. (Continuous edits ???? - Add your own spices & seasoning if you want. My take this is fast, plentiful & more authentic then the bland stuff you get in restaurants. Lived in South America, Mexico & Southern California & this represents what food is all about).
I figured i would do a review. Just to find out if they are doing it on purpose. Usually they do a good job of service. But have recently noticed a tip bucket out the drive up window as well as the tip option on their debit card machine. I have noticed now everytime i do not leave a tip they give me the wrong sauce that i ask for. Wondering if this is on purpose and happening to anyone else. I know its a little thing but sucks to get home and realize its the wrong sauce. Prolly making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Edit: 4/27/24: happy to report the old green sauce appears to be back!
I've been coming here for a really long time at this point, and the quality overall (to me at least) has improved over the years. My only gripe with this place is the new green sauce recipe. It's clearly changed (darker than before and a different taste) and it's a huge step back to me, and that's a shame because I loved the old salsa verde and get it with virtually every order for over 20 years now. It was the perfect compliment to the breakfast burritos and the new sauce just isn't good. The salsa roja is fine but to me it just doesn't have the depth of flavor of the verde.
Please reconsider this change!
So upset with this place they got my daughters burrito wrong 2x , we waited over 30 mins to have it corrected . Also the person at the counter doesn't know how to use gloves correctly when putting sugar/cinnamon on pastries , she used the same gloves touching money then trays and back to pastries . I understand everyone has a bad day in customer service but it's the lack of concern and health codes for me . Rant over do better please and thank u
Try the shredded chicken burrito! Heaven on earth! I even found a bay leaf in my food, that just goes to show they are delicious! Add a green/red sauce. Yummy!
Over the years quality has gone down, prices up. Like a lot of places unfortunately. Got a stale churro, come on, they're only good fresh. More potato in breakfast burrito than anything, even if you order extra bacon.
AMAZING!! More taco meat than a pregnant starving woman could eat!! Fresh cut onion, cilantro was crispy, soft rice and the barbacoa!!! The only place in 20 miles I've found good cow face! Dont forget your free chips and salsa!
