I ordered steak and cheese, their staple item on the menu, its soaking wet, and this has happened before, sorry ill just drive to jersy mikes…. Why would you serve a sub so gross and expect me to eat it??? Package them differently or let them rest before you wrap it!? Again, who wants soggy bread?
Ordered a small steak and cheese with onions mushrooms. Well got home in about 10 minutes from there and sat down to eat my sub. Lo and behold the roll was soggy. So much for rave reviews on a steak and cheese sub. Took two bites and then threw the sandwich in the trash. $10 bucks out the window!
We are new to Hull, MA. 2nd day in and was trying to spend our money locally.
I truly wanted to like my sandwich tonight, but I felt cheated, and we overpaid for a mediocre sandwich. I did walk in at 6:40 pm to order 2 subs. I understand they were closing at 7 pm. I tried to keep things simple and easy. What I (and my wife) received were sandwiches that had hardly any meat on them (we ordered 2 large roast beefs), and we felt that the bread was on the older side of things. Very, very, very, thin slices of roast beef and hardly on the overpaid sandwhich. I understand that things cost more now a days but, that's no excuse for the lackluster roast beef that was served this evening. I am going to venture to guess that the roast beef was purposely cut on the thinner side
(paper thin side). The owner was probably trying to save money and stretch that product further, but I paid a boat load of money for a sandwich that I could have gotten cheaper and at Jersey Mike's.
I may try this place one more time. But, we shall see.
I don’t know who said the” best meatball’s around” but I just went to Victorias because of the comment you made and also I love meatballs…. I mean no disrespect but Obviously you must like bland meatballs! The meat balls seem home made but whomever made them needs a new recipe for sure! If you like just ok Meatballs then go there. I’m Italian and I know good meatballs when I eat one and that is not a good meatball. That just my opinion…
I’m not from the area so Can someone tell what is a good sub/sandwich to get at Victorias?
Has that wonderful neighborhood sub shop feel. I grabbed a small steak and cheese bomb. Which is an incredibly generous size.
It's a small table. But for a small sub to almost take up the entire table. Pretty nice. Haha
Idk if it was who was cooking or theyve gone down hill but steak and cheese are normally fantastic, today all i could taste was burnt mean and grease from the grill, took out all the bacon and burnt to make it edible
People who come to Victoria's are always satisfied! Best Ever and Popular try a steak and cheese!
You can’t beat these subs! Chicken Parmesan or steak and cheese! I can’t decide. They are always good. Fresh sun rolls. Quick and friendly local service. I’ve eaten here a thousand times!
