This was an absolutely perfect lunch experience from start to finish. There was plenty of parking outside, ordering was easy, lots of seating available, the food was made and ready in just a few minutes, and the staff were super friendly.
I ordered the Pumpkin Curry, which was literally the best curry I've ever had. It was warm, full of flavor, with perfectly cooked potatoes/tofu/chickpeas, and something I could eat every single day. The Spring Rolls and their homemade Sriracha sauce were incredible too.
The best part being all the food is vegan! If you're ever in Hilo, this is a must try.
Amazing lunch spot ???? We had the pho and a lunch plate with pumpkin curry, lemongrass fried rice, and “pork” belly (rice wrapped in soy I believe)
Everything was delicious! The pho broth was some of the best vegetarian broth I’ve had, savory and flavorful and full of tofu and veggies. Highly recommend the curry also it was so good ???? It’s also all pretty affordable!!
The space inside is also spacious and cute and everyone who helped us was really nice. Would definitely recommend and come back again!
The bomb. We went here two days in a row. The lunch special is the best value you will get on Big Island. The staff is so nice!
Delicious! A great find. Owner is super friendly. Items are premade buffet style and you can select what you would like. He got there a bit after the lunch rush so some items had already sold out but they did have daily specials not listed on their menu. It was nice to get some of my favorites that I have not had in a while vegan. Most items had a bit of a kick in spice, which I loved my husband not so much, lol. I got the four item lunch plate and it amazing if we are back in that area I will definitely stop by again and highly recommend regardless of vegan or not for a quick reasonably priced meal that is quick.
This place is way too good. I love the pork belly, sliced beef with juice, fried rice, and pho. Portions are huge, price is cheap, food is insanely delicious. Great friendly staff. Fire.
Oh my god this place was amazing! Chris, I assume the owner, was absolutely amazing and took excellent care of us! They have a great assortment of vegan American staples ranging from fish rolls to pork belly. The bao was amazing too! Please do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a little restaurant!
What an amazing gem on Hamakua coast. The owner is so inviting and talks straight from the heart. The food was simple plentiful and delicious. Hard choices had to be made. My wife chose three dishes and I did too and we shared. The curry was to die for. Each plate was $12.
I would recommend people to come eat here even if you are not vegan. You will come back over and over again. Mahalo
Some of the absolute best vegan food I've ever had. Delicious, very reasonably priced, and generous servings - you won't leave hungry! My dad and brother aren't vegan or vegetarian, but both wanted to come back again after we tried it the first time, and said it was some of the best food we'd had the whole trip.
Staff is very friendly and I only wish we had stayed in Hilo longer so we could have eaten here more. Definitely check it out if you're nearby!
