Great people but it's so hard to get a good customer service. I get it people are busy but ups needs to figure something out with a local customer service when there is issues with packaging
They suck in delivery services. Yes when you track your package when you get notified being out for delivery and at the end either late or never came. There goes your plan of the day all because it's false notification. Or maybe their delivery person just sucks period.
This HUB is aweful. First they didnt bother to attempt delivery yesterday and took package back to the HUB. Today they say they attempted but business was closed at 1030am… called customer service he tried to give me the same excuse. I told him its my PMB at a UPS store and its OPEN. Then he had to tell me the truth the HUB CLOSED today for a four day weekend, so they lied, no surprise… This HUB has terrible customer service.
A middle-aged male driver referred to the 54-year-old customer as a boy! To the customers face.????... ????????????
Maybe they should be taught manners along with why you don't speed.
UPS emailed me this morning at 10:30 and gave me a scheduled delivery window of 1:30pm - 5:30pm for a package requiring signature. It's after 9pm and they still didn't arrive. Customer support has been useless.
The source of my complaint starts on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at approximately 1145. I am driving southbound on a state route near Carlisle, PA. My wife and two small children are in the car with me. We are in my Jeep Cherokee, I have our headlights turned on, our Jeep is a little older so it doesn't have auto headlights, I drive with them on rain or shine, day or night. We are on a straight stretch of road where both directions can see for a quarter of a mile or better. I am driving pretty much dead on the posted speed limit of 45 mph. I see a UPS driver in a driveway waiting to pull out. He starts to pull out a little and slightly hesitates before deciding to continue pulling out directly into my path of travel. This hesitation probably prevented an accident because I had already taken my foot off of the gas at that point. However, even though I didn't lock the brakes up, it was still close. He is now blocking both lanes of traffic because he couldn't make the turn easily since he drove straight so far out of the driveway. I lay on the horn at this point and then start following him since he is also now traveling southbound. My wife takes a photo of his license plate and truck number. Maybe 200 feet from where he pulled out he now makes a right turn into a driveway, I pull over hoping to speak to the driver. He glared over at us and then proceeded up the driveway so at that point I continued driving and my wife attempted to call the Carlisle hub. She gets the sorting facility the first time and they are nice enough to give her the correct number to call the hub. She calls and asks to speak with the manager, I tell her to ask for the driver's or road manager, I used to work in management at the Chambersburg Hub and have experience dealing with similar situations there. She describes the entire incident over the phone and she provided the plate number and truck number from the photos she took. We were also able to provide a good description of the driver. The manager states that he believes he knows who we are describing and asks my wife if she wants a callback after they speak with the driver. Again, from my experience at Chambersburg, I tell her to say yes. The manager confirms that he has a good phone number for us and we end the call. It is now Friday morning and still no callback. I can only assume that management at Carlisle does not give a damn about whether or not their drivers are operating safely. I know that at this point, it is well past the point where we should have been contacted. I am not looking to cause a person to lose their job, especially with the current situation, but I definitely feel like a write-up is appropriate. Very disappointed in the way this was handled!
I recently had the opportunity to work with ups during their peak season, after peak i was asked to if i wanted to be a feeder driver, i accepted the invitation to become part of a great company. I received 5 days of training with an on road supervisor, i rank this supervisor as top notch, very thorough and very helpful and informative his first name is Ricky. Although ive been in the trucking industry for 30years there is always things to learn. Especially safety. Imthe new Carlisle hub is still in its first stages big on safety, even when im not working.
Both of my Son's work here!
