My wife and I like going here. There is a great mix of pinball machines and legacy arcade games. There is a great selection of drinks and the people who work here are attentive, helpful, and very nice. We stopped in and they had a Valentine's week deal with 80 tokens, 6 tallboys (beers), a huge pizza, and a fanny pack for $40. That is an incredible deal especially since all pinball and games are a quarter (1 token). The pizza tasted great but was very messy and hard to eat the way it was cooked and sliced. Not a big issue and still tasted great.
Located on the heart of Lyn-Lake. It’s the place to be in Minneapolis. The old and the new live next to each other. The games are cheap but the drinks and food are kinda overpriced. There are specials every day. Many arcades from the 80’s. Pinball machines and so much more. It’s a great place to hang out. There is quite a following for this place. There is a tiny pizza shop behind the bar and a premium donut vending machine on the side of the pizza shop.
Very accommodating for our birthday party. Allowed me to come in early and claim a space and set up decorations. Let me keep our cupcakes in their freezer until later in the day. Matt the manager was extra helpful the day of! Great specials and the game selection is elite. 10/10 would recommend for a fun afternoon alone or with a group.
On Thanksgiving night we had tried a few other bars but they were all closed. One of the friends that we were with suggested Up-Down. What a great choice and exceptional atmosphere! Up-Down is a safe, grown, and diverse establishment that will bring back your inner child hood memories with all of the games that we all grew up fond of! Service from the young lady at the bar when you first walk in was incredible. One of the gentlemen at the bar could take a few tips of hospitality from the young Georgia peach. We will let his attitude slide because he makes great drinks. Pricing for everything is super reasonable. I wish that we can go back. Being that we were only in town for the holiday my wife and I had a blast at Up-Down. We would recommend this location to the locals and tourists! To the owners..Great establishment! Atlanta needs you!
Up Down is a really cool place. They have a great selection of arcade games, I've always been able to find open machines to play, they have a roof patio and outdoor seating on both levels. The beer selection is good, the pizza is good. My wife and I really like the joust machine. The only downside is it's popularity means it can get cramped on weekends.

This place use to be fun but no longer is. A group of us went out to have a good time and play games until I (an older disabled woman one a cane) was assaulted and kicked in my chest then rudely put out by the security when my family and I did nothing wrong. We were told that they would call us after reviewing the camera's to see that I was not the one in the “wrong” I also requested that for the fresh drinks in all my Families hands and the $20 worth of tokens that were kicked out of my hand be refunded but got no response nor respect or even a call apologizing for their mistake. I don’t know what they are up to but this was extremely wrong of them to treat anyone especially a disabled person who was assaulted on their property this disrespectfully. They didn’t even have enough decency to check on me and see if I was OK but it’s all good. I will be sending my bill from going to the Emergency room from the injuries that were caused to me on their property.
This place is hella busy! but its kinda the coolest /most popular bar. Really great game selection from DDR to marvel vs capcom!
