What a wonderful authentic Native Restaurant. The food was amazing! The service was fast and very attentive, Affordable and friendly . This restaurant is definitely placed in a beautiful setting near the twin rocks . I got the blue corn pancakes with sausage and eggs it was phenomenal. The other dish was a chicken sandwich. I highly recommend this place !
This place was a great pick me up. They even have a bundle for hiking! My three sisters salad was delicious and they have great ranch. The purple pancakes (or blue I’m so sorry ????) were a nice surprise and I would love to come back and get more. I also tried the chicken and bell pepper soup, asavory and sweet at the time yum!
Nice little restaurant tucked under the twin rocks.
Great customer service. We tried the Navjo Tacos, one Carnitas and one Classic with beans and meat. The Carnitas navajo taco was awesome. The classic is why they only get four stars. It is described as a taco with meat and beans. Most people will think... taco meat and refried beans... wrong... it's just some bean chilli on top... not exactly what I expected. Overall though, great place, service, and food.
TL;DR - Great little restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
I think this place has changed ownership or at the very least the menu has changed. There are pictures listed that are outdated. So, for your reference I wouldn't look back much further than a few months at other reviews or menu items.
Stopped in for breakfast and we were not disappointed. It's your typical small town diner feel with a twist of the American West.
The food is made from fresh ingredients and they use real butter and milk, etc.
The staff is friendly and prompt and they've got that Indian fry bread!
I had the Navajo taco. It's HUGE! Solid good meal though. The shell in particular was delicious.
Good food, a little slow because they were shorter in people, took longer than we expected for breakfast, but we tried delicious blue pancakes and the Navajo style breakfast, definitely worth the waiting.
Best breakfast ever! I got the eggs benedict and it was absolutely amazing. Not too spicy for those who hate spice. So delicious! I got a lemon bar and some apple pie to go and both are equally amazing. The service was amazing as well, everyone was so fast and nice.
This was the best piece of fry bread I have had in the entire week long visit through the gorgeous Navajo country! An excellent breakfast cooked w great care, cool ingredients and much love! The chef even popped out and asked me how everything was! Great pit stop along the long and winding road!
