Twin Peaks at Polaris in Ohio.
The family decided to try out TWIN PEAKS. Twin Peaks is basically a more upscale Hooters with plenty of alcoholic choices and lots more women wearing less clothes.
My wife and daughter actually suggested we go there. The atmosphere is what you would expect. We came here for the food and this review is solely based on the food.
We started with the Triple Play ($10.99) house made avocado smash · fire-roasted salsa · chipotle queso · tortilla chips. Unlimited Chips I believe. Priced right and all were very good.
We also ordered the Smoked Chicken Quesadillas ($12.99) in-house smoked chicken · pepper jack · cheddar · green chiles · roasted corn · black beans · pico de gallo · served with fire roasted salsa & sour cream. It was very good, I would skip the green chilies as they over power the dish. Slight complaint, not a lot of food for tts price.
My kids got two Kids Meals.
My son got the Mac n Cheese ($3.99) with fries and drink. Great Value.
My daughter got the Lil Chicken Tenders ($4.99) with fries and drink.
On to the Main meals
My son ordered the Chicken Street Corn Salad ($13.99) grilled chicken · iceberg · charred corn · lentils · Billionaire's Bacon · roasted jalapeños · Parmesan · pico de gallo · green onions · cilantro · tortilla strips · creamy lime vinaigrette · chili lime salt. He enjoyed it.
Wife ordered the 12 smoked wings ($20.99). I tried them, not for me but she really liked them. Only complaint not pricey.
I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak ($12.99) thin sliced sirloin · provolone · peppers · caramelized onions · mushrooms · Italian seasoning · mayo · toasted hoagie roll · served with seasoned French fries. I got mine with no mayo and added A1. I wish this came with lettuce, tomatoes. It was also slightly too salty. Probably would not order again.
Overall our experience was very good. A little bit pricey for a family of five ($90) but I was impressed overall with the food.
We will return.
Visiting Ohio, and stopped by here. The place looked inviting from the outside. The inside was even cuter! The decor and theme is so cool. The girls were super nice, and our server Noelle was very attentive, and helpful with our beer selections. I had the chicken street corn salad and Omgsh! Best salad everrr!! Def coming back if we are ever in the area again!
Food and atmosphere was great. Ordered the chicken wings and loaded fries. And the cheese appetizers were amazing! Staff was very friendly and food was great! Definitely would come back.
We went to eat at Twin Peaks for our son’s birthday ( he chose it). We walked into a friendly atmosphere, nice bar and huge tvs everywhere. We got tall green beers for st. Patties day. Their beer tastes the best. They are always super cold served frosty. They are cold even after the frost is gone. We got the Peaks sampler for appetizer. In my opinion , it’s not worth 17 bucks. The food was good, but just didn’t seem worth the price. The dinners weren’t too pricey and they were served quick and hot. Our waitress Emma was fantastic , always checking in on us and making sure we were good. She did a great job. To top it off she got her other coworkers come over and wish him a great day
Megan was an exceptional waitress. Great attitude, fast and went out of her way to take care of the table. Highly recommend and recommend asking to be seated in Megan’s section.
First time here, very particular about salmon...it was delicious! The spicy chipotle chicken was great too! Service was great - very fast! Definitely recommend!
So this was an accident….we were looking for somewhere to eat at Polaris, but our top two places were stacked (no pun intended), and when we called here, they had no wait, so that’s what happened. I think my husband was more taken a back than I was, but I warned him from a quick Google search that it was Hooter vibes with log cabin/mountain feel (literally the best way to describe the decor and waitresses outfits)????????‍♀️
All that aside, service was great—from the hostess to the waitress all were very friendly; food was delish (get the billionaire bacon) ????; daily drink specials a definite plus ???????? Can’t say we’ll go back of our own accord, but it truly solved our dinner dilemma that night.
Jo is the best, hands-down. She’s the most prettiest and bestest waitress, EVAR. She encouraged me to make the cheesecake into a dinosaur so it would taste better, and she also totally did not take my phone and type this review herself under my name. The only problem with Jo is that Google only goes up to five stars, and she deserves a million stars.
(P.S. I forgot to mention that there was a piece of wax paper in the dinosaur cheesecake and it was hard to chew but it didn’t taste too bad.)
