Ok let's start with the positives... Very clean and tidy restaurant with very friendly staff and nice selection of food. The poppadoms came out first which were good with nice dips and I especially like the burnt poppadom which I'll definitely have again. However that's a positive I can be. First when I walked in I was like wow very dated and could definitely do with modernisation. Then I used the toilets and as clean as they were they are extremely dated. The mains came out and all I can say is they were distinctly average. My chicken was dry, chewy and had no hole in it so even though I asked for tikka it couldn't of been. The rice was stodgy and the naans were flat and greasy. I know it may be reginal difference but my Jalfrazi was not hot and I'm used to hot ones. My work mate had a tiger prawn curry and he said they were overdone , chewy and pretty tasteless and I'd have to agree most of it was tasteless. So not bad but definitely won't be rushing back anytime soon.
It was a really nice restaurant with lovely ambience and comfort food. All the food was delicious, especially tiger prawn fry was very delicate and tasty. We ordered chicken wings, panner tikka, masala fish and balti chicken tikka with keema naan and tandoori roti. All the food was awesome and fulfilling. Coming to the sweetooths, the mango lassi was top notch and any kulfi lovers should try the matka kulfi here. I got the matka and a spoon free too as a souvenir ????????Anyways, the owner was friendly and lovely too. Most recommended ????????♀️????
Excellent Indian Cuisine. Very very friendly manageand staff. The food is excellent quality! If you want a proper Indian proper quality food this is the place. Second time I've been and didn't disappointed again.
Absolutely delicious food excellent service staff are so welcoming especially head front of house staff member Nick. What a top guy. Really good enjoyed the food. Very family friendly place...
Will definitely be going back.
Visited again, was greeted warmly and seated by Rupesh. As before the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Every need catered for, I was asked at regular intervals if needed anything with my meal. To finish off I was served a lovely cup of Desi tea. Great service from management team 5 stars all round.
This is easily the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to. We visited mid week and the restaurant was almost empty at 7-8pm. We were seated at a table in the window and I immediately noticed the table cloths were filthy and stained which was highly off-putting and I didn't want to touch the table.
The pickle tray with the poppadoms weren't very nice, one of them genuinely looked and tasted like raw onions in tomato ketchup.
For the mains we were persuaded to try some of their specialty dishes which they claimed were authentic and not like normal restaurants, the chicken tikka is apparently cooked differently over charcoal giving it a unique flavour...
The chicken tikka pasanda looked like Chinese sweet and sour sauce and also tasted tangy like ketchup, the pieces of chicken in this curry and another curry we ordered were miniscule little pieces of shredded chicken, and were just plain tasting chicken not chicken tikka. Now for the highlight, the 'chicken' tikka Dopiaza... The pieces of chicken in this dish were actually large pieces but had a funny taste... It only took me a moment to realise that the taste was in fact TURKEY not chicken at all. Even the rice was poor, wet and sticky like the microwavable packets you get in the supermarket, not your usual light and fluffy vegetable pilau.
Overall a very disappointing experience and I won't be going back.
Had fabulous food after very long time, it has been 2 years since I had proper indian food in UK. This place is highly recommended.
Mushroom Pakora is something that I would highly recommend if you are a Mushroom lover.
We had a family meal last night. From start to finish the staff and service was excellent. The Manager was chatty and worked out that we want to have a chatty meal so put us into the conservatory so we could chat happily. The food was excellent and the Manager recommended different choices which were delicious. The Nan bread was delicious and enormous but fed all of us.I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough and will be recommending it to anyone. We will definitely will be back. Thank you for a lovely meal and thank the staff.
