I came into this location on 9/3/22 around 6 or 7pm for a smoothie. The staff that was in seem irritated that customers were coming in., Staff did not greet anyone but a young male who seem as if he was a friend of the employees and was only there to hang out. As I waited over 10 mins to receive my purchase, the young male left out and returned store in the store several time's. I became suspicious of the behavior. I went to the restroom and it was locked so I asked the employee which was two white young females of i could use the restroom and if I needed a key. One of the employees went to the restroom and knocked, all of a sudden the door opens. The employee went in for about 3 to 5 minutes, as she returned she didn't take off her gloves. I asked again if I could use the restroom.The employee acted irritated again as she walked back to the restroom and knocked a few times on the door.She walks inside and OMG ..about 5 to 6 white females came out the restroom together laughing as they sat at the tables with the young male. I immediately said I didn't want that employee making my smoothie and I took pictures. Very unsanitary and I didn't drink my smoothie I threw it away as I walked out. I'd hate to know the possibility of actions taking place in the restroom. I won't return.
My order was made perfectly but laaawd if the staff isn't slow. Granted the place was packed however some of the staff didn't seem as if the customers were the priority. One employee was in the back on her phone, another employee was just walking around. Meanwhile there's one person making the smoothies and one person packing orders AND doing the register. Staff doesn't acknowledge you when entering the building. A simple "welcome" "hi, we'll be with you in a moment" "thanks for your patience" goes A LONG way.
I come to this location often on my lunch breaks. The staff is nice & friendly. The place is organized and clean. My smoothies and food always come out on point & super quick! I highly recommend this Tropical Smoothie location.
I can’t give 5 stars because I went here and they say they close at 9pm but it was before 9pm. The open sign was on, the door was open but the girl proceeds to say they are closed. It was 8:54 to be exact. I just felt that was bad customer service. She said they put everything up. She didn’t know if I was getting something easy or what.
I used to love this place, but is getting worse every time I order.
On my last two orders, the consistency of the smoothie was off. It was runny, and didn’t taste right.
On my last order, I got the new Hawaiian wrap. There was barely anything in it, and the combination of flavors was strange. The time before that I got the bacon ranch wrap. On both occasions the chicken was gristly and chewy. There were inedible pieces in the wraps.
Again, wanting to try something new, I got the kale salad. It was absolutely disgusting! The dressing was horrible.
This used to be my go-to smoothie place, but now I’m kind of scared to order from here again. It’s really gone downhill since they opened.
Check your food before you leave the place! I have been to this location plenty of times before for a smoothie. Today I decided to order a sandwich. I opened the wrapper to find that the bread had mold on it. PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS PLACE. Just don't go here.
The smoothie usually comes out alright but the food always disappoints. It’s cold, slapped together and not tasty at all. I’m not sure what the other franchises are doing better than this one but they need to visit the other spots to see what they do better and improve. I probably won’t be going back there as I’ve given them many chances and they have failed
I’ve always loved this location but today was not one of those days. I got 4 açaí bowls and I SUBd mango instead of banana for all 4. When I ordered , 1 employee yelled out “FOUR???” Like it was a problem. And all 4 still had bananas when the receipt on the bags even said SUB MANGO. When I went back to only get 1 corrected (cause I wouldn’t make them redo all 4) they looked at me so crazy and even went to the back to talk about it. Not sure if this is a new staff but I’ve never had this experience for absolutely NO reason when I was very friendly.
