WIFIのサービスがありがたかった。決して綺麗な通りではないけれど美味しい料理を味わえました。クレジットカードも使えました。
Great food packed with flavour. The menu is filled with endless options, however, we decided on the chicken green curry and glass noodle salad. The manager/owner put in a lot of effort to ensure that the food was just the way we wanted it.
Tl;Dr Most disappointing meal of our holiday. 100% would not recommend.
We were looking to have dinner at Seahag restaurant next door, only to find out it was closed. Tomyam Restaurant stepped in to convince us that the food was the same by showing a nearly identical menu, so we decided to give this restaurant a shot.
At the outset, we were promised a "big crab" (I quote) for a fixed price of THB350. This is relevant later.
We ordered some white rice, long beans, and tom kha soup to go along with the black pepper garlic crab. For beverages, we had some fresh coconut.
When the food was served, it looked so drab that we didn't bother to take pictures. The only thing that wasn't disappointing was the rice--which was still a little hard.
The long beans were tasteless, squeaky, and hard. The sauce was decent but lacklustre... But still probably the best thing on the table then.
The tom kha soup was primarily coconut cream with some vegetables thrown in to make it look like soup.
The black pepper garlic crab was the real kicker: it was so underwhelming it didn't even fill up half of the plate (we found out later at other restaurants that a crab this size usually sells for THB250). There was no flesh in the legs and whatever flesh was present in the claws was dry and shrunken. The only marginally decent flesh was the body. In all honesty, it seemed like three different crabs instead of one. Oh, and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. It had indistinct lumps and no visible fresh ingredients other than a few black flakes we assumed was black pepper.
The "fresh" coconut we had was old; there was little flesh on its inner walls.
P. S., the restaurant smelled musty and pretty much empty at 7pm on a weekend night.
The food was badly and also to expensive...
Try to avaid...there some better restaurants just on the left and right side.
I told them i was not happy with the quality of food...they didn't care.
Fried noodle was good and reratively cheap. Beer Chang large was 140 THB. Most expensive one I've ever had.I could not connect to WiFi.
I would like to give 10 ???? for this restaurant, food is excellent. Had Thai food, they made as per our instruction. Loved place
