Food was amazing!!!! This is my new spot!!! I recommend everyone try this place. The french toast was so good. I went 3 days later with my daughter and got the apple crisp french toast and she got the nutella banana french toast. They both were so delicious ????.
Toast N' Jam is like no other! They have something for everyone! Whether you like sweet or savory, you can find something on the menu to satisfy your hunger! Their Portuguese Hash pictured below is AMAZING! My favorite is the Belgium Waffle Sundae! Sometimes, I switch it up and go for good ol' fashioned eggs-over-easy. No matter what you choose, the servers will be more than happy to bring it out to you with a smile. Their place is newly renovated with plenty of seating! Toast N' Jam is a great addition to New Bedford!
First time having breakfast at Toast N' Jam, formerly (What's Cookin') at the new location. Great breakfast selection. Newly renovated, ton of seats. Had the Portuguese hash Benedict and Junior had the Churro Pancakes. Both were good. My poached eggs were overcooked, so I asked for some extra hollandaise sauce. Problem solved. Little bit of a wait, not too bad. One coffee, no refills. Not a bad overall experience. Will go back.
The French toast with cream cheese stuffing was the best best breakfast food item I’ve ever had!! It’s a little pricey. I think that instead of two slices it should come with 3 slices The music was a little too loud The atmosphere is very nice. Awesome waitress
Our first time ordering from Toast and Jam. We got take out. I got the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast and my daughter got Nutella and banana French toast. The description of strawberry cheesecake French toast it was supposed to include fresh strawberries, and white chocolate drizzle. I opened the box and it was a strawberry cream cheese sandwich on greasy fried bread. Not even real strawberries in the clumpy cream cheese. Absolutely disgusting. The Nutella was mainly a little bit of Nutella and a couple of slices of banana on greasy fried bread. They included one side of maple syrup. We see the place packed every day which is why we got take out. Fresh strawberries in the container is not difficult. Really disappointing. I called and they said they’d make another one, but I’m late for work. I don’t make a lot of bad reviews, but this deserved to be known. Plus the French toast was $14.95!!! It’s in the trash.

This is not the restaurant your grand parents brought you to when you were a kid. This is modern day breakfast with an urban twist. GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work
Went for mother's day with the family. Service was excellent! Food was amazing! Good prices. Nice atmosphere with some music. I can't wait to go back and try the different French toasts and pancakes! Definitely a hidden gem in the city! I wish I got pics but we ate too fast.
Food NEVER disappoints! Staff is super friendly as well. I stop in at least a couple of times a week, and they are always consistent.
