Based on a recommendation from The Pioneer Press and their Best Burgers in the Twin Cities article, we stopped by to check out Tiff's ???? and they did NOT disappoint.
These are double-smashed patties and they came to PLAY. ???? Big and messy, drippy, salty and delicious! The bartender was quick and friendly and the drinks. The one I had was a house special and was sweet and herbaceous and a nice off-set to the ???? burger.
I would go back any time!
I love Tiffany’s! It’s my neighborhood bar and I live in a different neighborhood. Good bar food, and they try to change things up, which is great for the regulars. Fun environment, plenty of TV’s for any sports events. Wonderful booths where you can feel the energy of the bar and still have a conversation. The staff care and provide excellent service.
Not every place we try is a hit, and tonight's date night spot was very much a miss.
We went to Tiffany sport lounge in St. Paul after checking out the 2023 best burgers of the Twin Cities article in the Pioneer Press.
Their burgers looked good, but were "meh" at best.
I'm not a food critic, not am I am expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt. We just didn't care for them.
The fries on the other hand, are a different story. Those I'd give a solid 7.5/10.
The food is honestly aggressively bad ???? good presentation, but like, the opposite of tasty. Eaten here a few times and regretted it every time ???? but the service is great, no shade on the staff. Whoever is in charge of the menu though... the fish tacos are pretty but gross, and the black bean burger tastes like it was made by someone with a vendetta against vegetarians lol. I've never tasted something so bland that it ruined the toppings on it ???? get beyond burgers or something, there's an easy solution here.
But the service is great, they have a patio & alcohol, it's hard to be mad. Just... maybe come here for just drinks ????
My go to bar when in Minneapolis. I can always watch the Denver Bronco football game here. The booths have a TV over each bench inside the booth. It's perfect. Food and drinks are good and reasonable.
We did not eat, but it did look good and need to go back and try it. The service was really good. The waitress kept checking on us (an after work group of about 8-10 people). The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. It's decorated beautifully and not loud. We will good back and recommend people.
We stopped for a few cocktails and John the bartender was a good sport about our quirky slightly irritating antics. He also far exceeded our expectations by anticipating when we needed something.
It's a Highland Park neighborhood bar. We'll be back to see John soon.
I live in the neighborhood and come here often to meet up with friends, etc. It's super convenient for me with it being walking distance. It's also great that they offer a decent selection of food and drinks. No complaints from me. 5 stars!
Edit: Finally got around to getting brunch here. Mimosas were great and my carnitas burrito was excellent. Still a 5 stars from me!
