What a little hidden gem! We had the vegan and veggie breakfast here and the food was great! The service was friendly, really fair price, good portions and loads of choice for a small cafe. This is definitely our new breakfast spot, best brekki in brid by a long shot
We popped in for some lunch. Lovely welcome and chat when ordering and getting our drinks. Sadly the food let it down massively. Very salty so much out of the 3 dishes chips were on they were all left as you could see the layers of salt. Burger well i dont think you could call that a burger if im honest with burnt cheese and bread. Jacket potato should have been left to cook longer. Really dissapointing and to see a £46 pound bill at the end for food we couldnt eat and when told we got sorry about that and walked off. Sadly wont be supporting this local shop again. On upside anyone not wanting to go in the sea due to the salty water this cafe has proberbly drained the salt from the sea and put it all on our food.
Food was late but very much worth the wait. Food was nice and hot, food was well cooked and when I called to ask about my order they were very apologetic but assured me my food was on its way. Yes it was quite late getting to me but the food was lovely. They obviously need a different delivery service as that’s the only thing that let them down.
I found the Wish Cat Café on Google whilst searching for places to eat in Bridlington that serve vegan and vegetarian food. After reading the reviews, all of which are very positive, I decided I would have lunch there with my mum. The décor is absolutely charming, with a cat theme throughout, which is never a bad thing because, let's face it, cats are the best. Mum and I both had the vegan meatballs with rice and a salad garnish. They were excellent! Really nice, rich tomato sauce, and the meatballs themselves had a wonderful flavour and texture, leaving us both comfortably full from the generous portions. The prices are reasonable, and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. I will certainly be a regular visitor from now on. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
A warm, cosy, dog friendly cafe. The food was very good. ????We ordered a standard breakfast (sausage, bacon, 2 hash browns, fried egg, beans, mushrooms, fried tomatoes and two slices of toast) a vegetarian breakfast, and 2 toasted sausage baguettes, served with crisps and side salad. (They don’t serve chips), 3 teas (the cups had been warmed, a nice touch) and 1 hot chocolate made with soya milk which came in a huge jam jar mug. They also had a Vegan menu. There are steps up to the cafe, however, they do have a back accessible door if you are in a wheelchair or have a pushchair. Our friends doggy “Fudgie” was even given a chewy stick treat on arrival ????. A lovely find on our day out to Flamborough. ????
Poor menu choice, says it's vegetarian but the choice was dreadful and then when the food came, a garden salad was just lettuce and cucumber, my son's vegetarian breakfast was missing hash browns and the vegetarian sausages. Pretty place though, the owners were new, so hopefully it'll improve in good time and have a much more interesting mix of vegan and vegetarian food. Dog friendly too.
Great place to come with your dog and they deliver.food is fairly priced and quick service.owners friendly and gave my dog a treat.
