My wife and I visited for an evening meal and drink and when we arrived, we were greeted and seated by Raeni. We were then, given our food menus and a wine menu. The specials board took my fancy in the end. It all sounded amazing, but my wife chose the fish pie from the evening menu. I took Mickys advice and had the Crab linguine from the specials menu and shared the muscles with my wife for a starter. ||The food was absolutely spectacular! We loved every bite. The portion size was perfect and the atmosphere was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again! Thanks to the team - Micky, Raeni and Rav… not forgetting Xavier. You all played your part in making our night, one to remember - you are all a credit to the business! ||I highly recommend a visit to the Wayfarer Inn. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered the door. The food is amazing and great value for money along with the drinks available.
Just came home from a two night break at the Wayfarer Inn where I stayed with my two sisters. We were pleasantly greeted by a young girl at the bar Neve, who checked us in and said if we needed anything just to ask. The room was lovely, clean and warm with plenty of water, tea, coffee etc. There was such a friendly atmosphere in the bar with locals and staff alike and we even got to see some live music on the Saturday evening. The breakfasts and evening meal we had were good and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble. If you want to experience a local, quirky, welcoming, friendly place to stay or have a meal and drink you will not be disappointed. Thank you Sue Linda and Kay.
Wow! What service! We were welcomed and Micky and co were super helpful and friendly. The food was scrummy and the live music by Jacob was such a treat. The bedroom was lovely and had wonderful views. I will definitely stay again. Thank you! ????
We did not book but saw our dog would be allowed and we were made real welcome by everyone. The lunch time menu was proper and the daily specials board was brilliant, our food was excellent, hot with good sized portions. We will defiantly visit again to try the other specials and the Sunday Roast. Thank you Debbie and the crew for Real Ales, Real Food, you can be Real Proud. The Cornish Folk.

Passing thru instow we popped in to the Wayfarer Inn, we had some wonderful mussels and sticky ginger pudding, great stuff, staff were super friendly and well presented, of note Erin and Alfie, extremely eager to help, great decor, good beer, excellent food and it didnt break the bank. 10/10, thank you to ALL the staff for a most excellent evening ????
Wonderful weekend in Instow. We were treated to the delights of the wayfarer inn. Fish & chips on Friday was fabulous and big enough to feed my wife and I. Finished off we weekend with a Sunday roast that hit the spot. Plenty of meat and veggies all cooked fresh. Cheese board for a king devoured by all.
