Best KPortal Reviews
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the band was awesome..wasn't so crowded that you couldn't get around..the people was all ages I plan on being back..my group was out for the evening so we didn't eat food..we had beer and drinks
I’ve always loved coming here. Very disappointed that they apparently triple booked the bands. Planned on seeing Exit 105 as they had announced they would be there back in February then seen on the Thristy Hound website CMN Band would be there instead. Love them too but when we got there Big Cuz was playing. All I can say is okay if you were at Karaoke and you are learning the words to the song. Owners need to do a better job because as I’m watching Big Cuz it is still saying CMN is playing on their website. Exit 105 or CMN would have been a better choice. Sat through 1 set and done.
Pizza joint in disguise! It's a friendly little bar with a handfull of pool tables, a pair of Golden Tee machines and a shuffleboard table. The beer is ice cold and the pizza is outstanding! This is not bar pizza. Actually some of the best pizza I've had in Louisville.
The Band (HONKY TONK REWIND) was great. Would love to see them again. Had such a good time with family & friends.
Feels like a more welcoming place than I was expecting, and that is a very good thing!! Just a local bar where people are nice to each other. I've been there a few times now on weekdays, from 5pm to 10pm. People smile at ALL the people! The pizza is just freaking good! Limited draft choices but that's just me being picky. They've got a couple pool tables. Trivia on Tuesday night was a fun crowd but still had room for more people.
Stopped here on the way home. The food was so delicious for a small place and they were so accommodating and put the bills game on! Definitely try the Buffalo chicken pizza and the taco rolls!!
Thirsty Hound is definitely a local watering hole that caters to regulars. There is nothing wrong with that, but it didn't feel like a place where a random customer, such as myself was wanted. The waitress stood and chit chatted with a group of three nearly the entire time that I was there. I went in there to have late lunch, early dinner and wasn't wanting to drink alcohol. No problem, except I definitely didn't fall in order of paying customer and felt ignored at times. My drink was empty more often than not. The food was good for what it is, bar food. I can't hold grudges on what you see is what you get. Price was fair for what it was as well. This place is probably a lot of fun during the peak hours. I am not hating on Thirsty Hound, just not impressed with the service as a potential new local patron.
Great food, great fun and Honky Tonk Rewind is the best band in Louisville. Period.
