If you're over 6'1" ish, watch your head as you walk in... low entry in the door.
Cute place. Decent size dance floor.
Tuesdays are Country Line Dancing lessons.
Thursdays are Salsa lessons.
I can't speak on the food, I didn't have any; I was here recently to perform.
Parking is a bit tight, if you have an option to CarPool, go for it.
I thought it a little odd there were kids all over. This place is 1 bar out in the middle of the woods, so I can only assume when folks need a night out, this is where they go with them.
There was Only 1 bartender until 8/8:30 on a Saturday night, so it was difficult to even get a glass of water, let alone a drink
But other than this, the highlights are:

VERY nice grateful owners

Space for full band to play
Cool pint glasses
Guiness if your particular on the pour, ask 1st
2 bathrooms
We're definitely coming back and had fun overall.
Be sure to have a Designated Driver so you get home safe! Those backroads are lonely and dark, but barely any lights or stop signs. ????
Decent local bar on the edge of "dive bar". However I don't say that as a negative. Just that it is a local bar and not corporate at all. Prices were reasonable for drinks.

We had a great lunch at the Rusty Nail. The nachos with chili were fantastic, we cleared the plate. Their tots are everything and more, great burgers, and they are generous with portions. You will not leave hungry! The staff was very friendly and gave us good suggestions. Glad we visited!
Absolute horrible service.. I ordered boneless wings for pick up, when I came to pick them up, I tip the bartender, two dollars and pay for my food.. driving down the road I got the wrong item that I ordered. I went back to explain, and I was greeted with attitude. I will never never order from there again
Old school bar and grill. Food is excellent and the bar is classic! Gotta love all the the great Connecticut brews they serve too. Just down the road from Burr Pond State Park! Have a swim or hike and then come here for a great end to the day!
@copes goes here (@nathancopes) so obviously this place is quite casually iconic if I do say so myself. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a good place to get done dirty at. You will end up sleeping next to the lockers if you go here.
