Great to see some life in The Olive Tree North Walsham again. A lot of effort to reconnect the locals in a fantastic setting and attract new customers. The food is always delicious. People are friendly. Looking forward to the exciting events coming up! Last night ibiza night was amazing!!

WOW, what a wonderful dinner we had at the "NEW" Olive Tree, it was nothing like the old restaurant of the same name so you really must try it and the crab pasta starter and the linguine mains, they have an amazing chef, best meal we have had a very long time and North Walsham deserves something good.
Why not 5 stars I hear you say? their heating was not working so it was a bit chilly.
Will definately be visiting again.
I joined some friends for an evening Christmas meal on Friday the 9th of December but I didn’t think it was anything special and it was expensive for what it was. I had another Christmas meal at The Ship in Mundesley and thought their Christmas meal was so much more special and I really enjoyed it. It was less expensive as well. It was very cold inside too which isn’t very good.
Lovely end to a weekend at Alder Country Park. Anthony went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. And compliments to the chef Dillan food homemade and delicious.
All staff members worked so hard and even kept the kitchen open after hours for customers who arrived 45 minutes late.

Booked a table for 4 people on Wednesday for Sunday lunch on arrival we were told they had run out of roast potatoes so would be a wait we said that was fine we sat patiently to then be told they had no Roast pork only enough Beef for 1 person we were offered pie for our roast dinner which we politely refused
Our table had been booked days in advance luckily we managed to get a table at The Bluebell pub across the road which I would highly recommend
As for The Olive Tree yes looks nice but very badly run!!

Staff were lovely . Found the menu a little sparce Considering there were only 4 people eating including me and my partner meal took quite a long time to come out. But do realise they have only been open a few days so hopefully our next visit will be a better experience . See you soon
My original review and posted photos were made under the old ownership before Dream Lodge Group went bust 2 years ago. The park has undergone two changes in ownership since then and The Olive Tree only recently reopened under new owners. I haven't seen or tried the restaurant since it reopened, but apparently it is good. Cheaper and more family friendly menus.
