Proper cosy pub which has recently been renovated. Andy and the staff are great, nice and friendly. They also host baby showers and other events (self-catered).
Miranda moyles a great singer, a great atmosphere ???? and a very nice pub x
Welcoming and clean environment. Excellent food and service. Maxine and her team go above and beyond. Can recommend for parties, wakes, celebrations etc. Entertainment is organised daily, every week. Well stocked and very reasonably priced bar. You should definitely visit and keep in mind as a venue.
We visited this Bar when passing and glad we did. The atmosphere was really nice, very relaxed and friendly. Allows dogs which is a bonus. There is a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning.
Nice place with some great artists/bands on and the bar staff are always friendly.
The main issue this place has is damp and mold. It really does let it down however it is a busy place

A warm comfortable hostelry with 1st class service and a great atmosphere. The food is excellent and well presented and the Sunday breakfast is unsurpassable.... I indulged in a plate consisting of a field of tasty mushrooms, a genuine meat filled sausage, perfectly cooked bacon, a large yoked egg, tomatoes, black pud, hash browns, fried bread and 2 full slices of toast, quite deadly for the arteries but fantastic for the taste buds, complimentary tea and coffee with refills make it more than excellent value at less than £6-00. The best breakfast in the North, highly recommended.
We had been to a funeral and the wake was at the function room staff very polite and served quickly, the food was delicious would recommend
